"Friendly and helpful staff with a personal touch."
When we arrived the check-in was very speedy, friendly and accommodating. All our luggage where brought to the car without even asking (we came to the International German Open dance completion and had more luggage than normal). The restaurant staff as very friendly and made you feeling very welcomed and helped wherever we had language problems. Food was high quality. All in all a very pleasant experience and we definitely will come back here next year, as the hotel is only a 4 minute walk to the Rosengarten where the competition took place.
We also liked the convenience to walk directly from the parking house into the hotel.
We did not need a cab to check in after our bus ride we could walk with our luggage and the same to the train station .
It was also very quiet in the room and the City transportation pass was wonderful .
We would stay again any time we will visit

Well located, clean, efficient, I had a very quiet room, it was comfortable and very functional and spacious.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Very good breakfast buffet.
Would recommend / stay there again without hesitation.
I had stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and on this trip the hotel is in the middle of a major renovation.
I booked one of the renovated rooms, and I was not disappointed. The rooms were bright, clean, airconditioned and modern.
Unfortunately on the last day of my stay I discovered the mini-bar was included in the price of my room.
The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel has also added free Wi-Fi.
The highlight of the stay were the breakfasts. The orange juicer was awesome and the food selection impressive.
This will be my hotel to stay in when visiting Mannheim.
easy to find, just over 15 minutes from the central tower, which is next to the city center and train station. The rooms are clean, tidy, fashioned with all sorts of bits and bobs, from bath gel to shoe polish and even a coffee machine (but i didn't figure how it worked). I got a smoking room but there was no hint of smoke in the air, the walls nor the furnishings, this pleased my girlfriend. The surrounding area seemed very posh and it was pleasant walking through it, especially if you appreciate architecture. Had minimum contact with the staff but the two people I saw seemed very nice.
Known as the 'City of Squares' due to its grid-like layout, Mannheim was once a fortress guarding the meeting of the Rhine and Neckar rivers. The pedestrianized Paradeplatz is the city's hub, with a multitude of shops, bars, and restaurants. The landmark Water Tower is a stunning place to watch the world go by, preferably whilst enjoying a pretzel from one of Mannheim's many street stands.
