"Setup is different. Pool, dining and Spa not connected to hotel. Its like a neighborhood instead. Rooms clean. Women in front office are all extremely nice. Would definitely go back."

"My spouse, our daughter, our two small dogs and I immediately felt comfortable and welcome upon entering the home. You have everything you need, comfortable, clean and serene spaces. The view of the river is amazing and so wonderful to spend time by the water. Looking forward to returning in the summer when it is warmer so we can swim and go tubing in the river."

"Me and a few friends stayed at the River House during a long weekend during the Winter. The house itself was very nice and had many amenities.The location is good for some of the ski resorts in lower Vermont. However there was a rather large snow storm and due to the half hour 40 minute drive to the mountain we were not able to go because of the roads. This was no fault of the owners obviously but if you want to guarantee getting to the mountain maybe pick a place closer and have access to a car with 4x4 capabilities that can make it through snow.Even though we were snowed in we still had plenty to do as the house was full of board games, a pool table and a TV you could hook up any gaming system to.Be aware that you will also be totally reliant on the wifi at the house. the location is a dead spot for cell service. At one point our internet was disconnected and it took us awhile to realize that it went down but all it took is for one of us to unplug and plug the router back in and it went back up.Overall a really fun trip. "

"We stayed for the weekend and absolutely loved it- it was huge! Warm and inviting- full kitchen and bathroom, crib in the closet for a wee one. It was so clean and smelled good too- great windows and easy furniture. Bed was superb! Would stay again in a heartbeat. "
