Independent in Manilva

"This is a wonderful holiday home with the most beautiful sea view, attentive hosts and all the amenities you could wish for to enjoy a tranquil and relaxing break. Michel and Henri are really welcoming hosts and communications were excellent wherever needed throughout our stay. Inside the comfortable living space are comfortable beds and clean rooms and en suite bathrooms, a very well equipped kitchen, huge fridge and high quality kitchenware. There are all the appliances you could need and everything worked perfectly. Outside you couldn't ask for more, a large clean pool with optional heating, and a lovely hot tub where you can spoil yourself looking directly out over the ocean and all the coast. There are House Martins, hawks, seabirds to watch while you relax outside and many ways to make yourself comfortable lounging on the spacious patio. We had a wonderful holiday here and I would recommend this to anyone, we were sad to leave such a beautiful location to come back to UK February weather! Thank you Michel and Henri for this special trip. "

"A clean, VERY BASIC apartment. Expedia says property comes with “Private spa tub - unwind in your own luxurious private space”. WOW, THAT WAS AN OVERSTATEMENT! Just a bathtub with jets that didn’t work and then the plumbing leaked, flooding the cold bathroom floor. (They let us clean it up and didn’t offer us a different room) :-( Doesn’t have a smart TV so no Netflix or YouTube. Noisy heating system, hard bed.. Other than that, the unit was clean, spacious enough and had a kitchen & washing machine so the value was pretty good if you are looking for basic accommodation."

"This is a well-equipped apartment with nice little touches upon arrival.In our opinion, this is an apartment for the cooler months as there is no air conditioning. We needed a bit of cool air at night in November so we dread to think how uncomfortable it could be in the warmer months.The apartment looks tired and could do with updating noting the rust in one of the bath tubs, tired decor and main door lock that rattles and and shutters that don't lock properly.The apartment is well located and the memory foam beds are a major plus."

"Arrived very late - found it difficult to find entrance in the dark but once I did Receptionist let me in and was very helpful. Enjoyed my stay. Quiet due to time of year. Staff friendly. Pools looked great but didn't get to have a swim as only available from 10am and I was up and out early. Poolside bar and restaurant available at set times- didn't use this. Parking on site was 5 euros a night but safe to park outside on road so did that. Apartment very private with own patio and garden area to relax in. Quite spooky returning late at night as so quiet and no lights in apartment block. Free Wifi. Link to messaging service with Reception but none of my enquiries were ever answered so easier to just walk to reception and ask! Easy access to main road and short drive to nearest beach - beach in Manilva itself ( Dequesa) was excellent and nice and quiet too. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay here again. "

"Wow, this property is amazing. The pictures really dont do it justice. Balcony views were fabulous, we spent lots of time just looking out to sea! The air con worked brilliantly and was well needed, great tv channels and sofas and beds were very comfortable. Communication with Tony was fabulous, the check in and out was very easy.The apartment, pools and grounds were immaculate, everywhere was so clean. A ten minute walk away is a square with english bars and restaurants. Twenty minutes walk away is the marina with approximately 30 bars and restaurants. We will definitely come again.Thank you Tony."
