The Retreat is a contemporary, newly renovated apartment with a cozy terrace - with views on the port of La Duquesa, the lush communal area with pool and the sea. Lovingly decorated with an eye for detail, the apartment's two bedrooms, two designer bathrooms, state of the art modern kitchen and private parking space are located at one of the most sought-after areas of the council of Manilva, Andalucía. From restaurant to beach to activities - there's so much to discover, right at your doorstep.

The apartment is located right at the heart of La Duquesa, just a stone throws away from the bustling port with its cozy restaurants, bars and beach and counts a living room, a dining area, a fully equipped brand new kitchen, two bedrooms - one with an ensuite bathroom, two bathrooms, a spacious terrace with loungers and dining area boasting wonderful views as well as a private parking space. At the well-kept communal spaces, you're welcome to take a refreshing dive into the swimming pool, equipped with loungers or spend the day at the beach, right in front of the apartment. The absolute spot-on location makes it the perfect holiday retreat to enjoy a tranquil and luxurious stay for both couples or a small family, yet close to all amenities.

The boutique apartment is decorated and equipped up to high standards to add all the modern comforts you need. The penthouse has a fast Wi-Fi network, a Google Chrome cast to watch your favorite movies, a fully equipped brand new kitchen and a cozy outdoor space. The holiday apartment sleeps up to 4 and carries everything you need and truly is a warm home away from home.

OUT AND ABOUT
If you travel by car, you are welcome to use the private parking space below the building and parking off street is available too at the central square of the port. Right in front of your holiday apartment, a mere minute walk away, you’ll find restaurants, cafe's, supermarkets, and the beach. A ten-minute walk along the coast brings you to San Luis de Sabinillas, where a selection of shops, restaurants and cafes are waiting to be discovered. A ten-minute car drive away brings you to Estepona, the award-winning bustling and vibrant city, also known as “The garden of the Costa del Sol”.

IT'S NICE TO SEE YOU
You will be greeted by Esther and Pascal, who will help you with all you need during your stay, and they will hand-over the keys to the apartment and parking. They speak English, Spanish, Dutch, German, and basic French and are the owners of aire - a family-owned sustainable property and guest agency and small concept store, located in San Luis de Sabinillas. Prior to your arrival, the apartment has been thoroughly and sustainably cleaned. This means use of excessive water is limited through the use of stream cleaning as well as limited use of environmental-friendly and biodegradable cleaning products and tools. If you’d like to schedule an extra cleaning during your stay, please let us know as this can be arranged at an additional fee.

LOCATION AND MUST-SEES
The Retreat boutique apartment is located in the heart of La Duquesa, residency Marina de La Duquesa, and is the perfect location to discover the surrounding villages and Andalusia. Discover Estepona or take a fifteen-minute drive to explore one of the most famous pueblos blancos, Casares. Both Sotogrande and Marbella are within a twenty-minute drive away too. The beach is literally at your front door and offers a great opportunity to enjoying the sun and a tasty lunch at one of the chiringuitos (beach restaurants). If you'd l like to talk a walk or ride a bike, the ‘Senda Litoral” - a coastal pathway connecting all major cities along the coast - is a great way to explore the area too. The location is perfect to take a tour through Andalusia too as amazing cities such as Sevilla, Cordoba, Ronda and Tarifa are within driving reach - travel time by car varies from one to four hours away.

We recommend you to also visit the smaller, lesser-known villages nearby such as San Luis de Sabinillas or Manilva as both villages are not crowded by mass-tourism yet and the locals are one of the friendliest people we’ve ever met. Spanish luxury

Lovely clean airy apartment. Good views and a great location for the port and bars. Esther and Pascal were excellent managers and really easy to contact. Location was great just needed some shops to browse in.
