Well, I am not quite sure in who's mind setting up a hotel next to a High School was a grand idea. If you are going to book the suite, expect no to be able to go to sleep in peace between 6am and 7pm M-F. The room is nice but it is all taken away by the noice and bells.

The check-in process was too long... went on and on about the location, guest rules etc - unlike other hotels where they ask for ID and they give you keys - I was tired and just wanted to relax - I didn't even remember most of what I was told. The room they gave me at first didn't have hot water, broken bath/sink fixtures, low water pressure and a broken TV. After complaining, they moved me to another room which was much better. The guard stationed at the front of the hotel was not of much help - my hands were full of luggage and he would just sit in his chair and not even help open the door. Staff was quick to help when asked for something though.

Great quick stay @ ZEN Premium

Quick trip to Manila/Makati area for work and catching up with friends. The location is excellent - right behind Rockwell, Power Plant Mall etc. Excellent value for money vs other area hotels and is situated in a low key typical Manila neighborhood.

The elevator was out the entire time I was there which is a negative. An older person or someone with a severe disability would have been in a bind. Elevator should’ve been fixed right away, it is a key service item. The fact it was not fixed over a few days quite honestly is unacceptable. Also would have been nice if there is a security box in the room but there was none.

Good accomodation for budget travellers

Good location with convenient amenities nearby, i.e. convenience store, self-service laundry and major malls within walking distance. Great value for money. Water dispenser and coffee available. However, some rooms maybe windowless, toilet exhaust fan needs to be fixed so if the room smells immediately inform staff (we stayed a few days only so was not able to inform them till we were leaving.) Staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall a good place especially for business people or travellers on a budget.

Nice place only draw back ELEVATOR didn't WORK had to take my luggages down the stairs... had to ask for a blanket...gates closes at midnight... place was difficult to find.. Staff were nice!

The bed sheets and towels were very dirty with stains on them. On the other hand the staff were polite and courteous. Even though recently renovated the property condition/safety is questionable. Overall, if given the choice I wouldn't stay again.

Moderately clean.

The place was clean and the room was spacious. There was a minor lighting issues (broken bulbs), no cable, and poor wifi which was not addressed during our three night stay. Also, the bed was a bit small and stiff (I'm 5'2, 115 lb and my bf is 6'0, 205 lb ) However, the location is great as its walking distance to Power Plant Mall. Would not necessarily stay again but overall had a good stay. Reception was always kind and accommodating.

As you get off the elevator it is really smelly, like there’s a dead rat. We told the front desk, was told that the management was notified before, Secondly around 2:30am, fire alarm went off.

We liked everything except the noise from the water pumps, air compressor for the air conditioner. We had to change rooms at 12:30 am. We were told we would be compensated but never were. The staff is what kept us there. They were the best we encountered from any hotel in any country we have been in. Very personable and caring.

It did not have the amenities a Zen room and specially a premium have : no toothbrush & toothpaste, shampoo, bottled water, coffee, blanket, bath soap as I am not comfortable using an all-purpose liquid soap. Original room assigned to me had a noisy A/C so I asked to be transferred even to a twin room.Staff were still ill-experienced in handling complaints from me and from another irate couple who preferred to shorten their stay and checked out earlier.

Happy to return

Some rooms better than the others. Some rooms have loud air con noise from neighbors, some rooms facing school could wake you up at 630am But overall excellent price and excellent maintained hotel.
