I would highly recommend due to the wonderful staff alone. The residences had a couple issues with maintenance and odor at check in. However the staff immediately got to work to resolve all issues and made our family stay unforgettable. Our family had an urgent trip home due to a death in our family and the staff at the shangrila made our stay very comfortable. The even gave our family a floral arrangement to take home and it really touched our heart at the level of attention and care they provided.

Superb stay! Wonderful staff! Suite was super clean, although a tad musty. Love the food at Canton Road, room service was faster than the 30-45 minutes and equally tasty. Nespresso Machine!!!!! Washer is great all appliances clean and functional! Great location too! Planning to stay there again!

Absolutely amazing stay here with my family. Everyone in the front desk was terrific. Rica our house keeping pro was fantastic. So many great restaurants on this property, but Samba was our favorite. Our sever, Samantha was very attentive and helpful! They even brought a birthday cake for my daughter. Thank you all so much for making our time in the Philippines so comfortable. Great pool, gym and spa services as well!

We love the Shang’s residences, perfect location, and everyone is personable & professional. We’d like to mention a personal shoutout to Lenard, he serviced our apartment everyday. He was exceptional and he paid attention to details. Like when my husband was using a piece of paper for his mouse, and Lenard offered him a mouse pad.

The Residences are wonderful! The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and professional. The gym was amazing, the breakfast buffet at the hotel was also really good. The only thing that was disappointing was that there isn't any live music in the lounge like at other Shangri-La properties. But, I would highly recommend staying here.

An absolutely beautiful hotel and the residence rooms are large and beautifully laid out. We arrived in Manila very early in the morning and knew that we wouldn’t be able to check in until 4 pm but we decided to drop off our bags at the hotel so that we could explore the city a bit. The front desk staff were so kind and accommodating. They made every effort to get us into a room sooner. I wasn’t feeling well for a few days due to the heat and jet lag. When they saw my husband without me, they asked how I was doing and if I needed anything. My husband was thoroughly impressed with the gym and the attendants. We’ve never seen a hotel gym that well equipped before. The only minor concerns that we had was with the cleanliness of the bathroom (mildew/soap scum in the shower) and the slight food odor in the kitchen. My husband and I didn’t cook while we stayed there, so the food we smelled was either from an adjacent apartment or from the range hood. Otherwise, we’d definitely stay at the Shangri-La Residences at the Fort again and would highly recommend it to others staying in BCG.

Property and amenities are exceptional. Location is prime, and staff are friendly. Some deferred maintenance in the rooms (stayed in two different units) that should be addressed to keep the units from a lower rating in the future. My only complaint is upon checkout I requested for an emailed receipt - that is still yet to be sent after almost 24hrs since checking out (it’s not in any of my inboxes)…And I was told the hold on my credit card would be released right away but my account still shows otherwise. Other than that, no other major issues.

Everything went great, we are upgraded to 2-bed apartment which was huge and had everything we need (washer, dryer, iron). They are directly connected to hotel through the swimming pool and the excellent gym where they had indoor basketball court among others. Also great for kids as they have outdoor playground and kids center with bunch of activities. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, my only minor complaint is that they should provide laundry detergent as part of the amenities which they only provide for longer stay.

The ShangriLa Residences are in the same building as the ShangriLa Hotel and share the same gym and other amenities. The Residences are on lower floors versus the regular hotel rooms and do not have housekeeping services on weekends. A 1 bedroom residence is more than twice the size of a regular hotel room and the residence includes a kitchen (stove top, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, hot water, but no oven), and most importantly, a washer/dryer. Don’t expect to run too many loads through the washer/dryer. The unit takes a very long time to wash and dry. It is extremely quiet though. Overall, the Residences is great if you are planning a longer stay in BGC.
