Nice reception area, excellent gym facilities, good size suite room and excellent surrounding facilities with malls, F&B etc., but unfortunately that is where the positives end. The room came with unclean floors and bathroom had urine stains on the toilet seat. Best of all, room comes with guests in the form of cockroaches. Other points include unsecured safe, overheating kettle, an iron from the 60's and not all elevators working correctly. Overall, this is an old hotel with no good upkeep, housekeeping or management. It is the only hotel in Eastwood area so looks like I will have to bear with traffic and stay further out of the area for future.

I booked 3 rooms for an event. While the facility itself is lacking (far parking, no full length mirror, no microwave), it would’ve been easy to overlook had the service been okay. Our key card stopped working within the hour of checking in and we were told the room door had to be reset, one of our guests took a long time to get checked in due to staff chatting about personal stuff (in front of her!), we had to ask for bathrobes and were given towels instead, food room service for a guest took 1hr and 45minutes - and had missing items once it arrived, our driver entrusted our car keys to the front desk (in a labeled envelop) and kid you not, when we went to claim it within the hour, the front desk lady had no idea where our keys were. Thank goodness one staff was attentive, knew what he was doing, and was there to do his job and more. His name is Roel. He’s not even the manager but he should be. The rest of the staff that weekend were clueless about what they were doing. There are cheaper hotels that have better service. PS Roel facilitated all the service recovery possible. Richmonde should promote him. The rest of the staff should undergo retraining.

Our stay at Eastwood Richmonde fell short of expectations for a 4‑star property. The Wi‑Fi was unreliable, and the lift often force shut, which caused some discomfort. For three out of the four days we were there, the hot water did not work, even after an “engineer” tried to fix it. Unfortunately, the issue was never resolved. The air conditioning did not cool properly, and the gym facilities were quite disappointing. Many machines lacked proper pins, and the equipment appeared outdated. A full refurbishment of the fitness area would be a great improvement. We also experienced repeated issues with the room key cards, which staff explained could demagnetize easily, requiring several trips to the concierge. The hallways were extremely warm, and the lifts were very slow, making it inconvenient for guests staying on higher floors. The only positive aspect was the hotel’s proximity to dining areas, which was very handy, and the staff were polite. Overall, the hotel did not live up to 4‑star standards, and there are several areas that need serious attention. Until improvements are made, I would recommend booking elsewhere.

Place went downhill from last time we stayed. Night shift staff especially the guy appears to be less accommodating. Our rooms has a lot of bugs and the whole hotel was stinky.
