I know it is "just business," but I was deeply disappointed with the huge price differential from one trip to the next- from 115.00 a night for one trip to 440.00 a night for the next trip. It is a very nice hotel, but it isn't a 440.00 a night hotel. I will stay there again when the prices aren't 440.00 a night.

I read other reviews about the slowness of the elevators, and after staying at the hotel, I can confirm they were correct. It was incredibly frustrating that there are only two small elevators, so when one is out of service, the other elevator (each elevator only fits about 8 people) gets full very quickly...so we had to keep waiting until there was space in the elevator. If you're on the 18th floor like we were, you might have to wait 30 minutes or more just to be able to get on the elevator to go down! Absolutely ridiculous. Another complaint is that our room was for 4 people, but the room only had 1 chair, and barely any space for luggage. I expected rooms in NYC to be on the small side, but this was too small. The positives were that the room was clean and the staff were nice.

Great hotel. Good bar and restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Only issue is there are only two elevators, so there are long waits if the hotel is full, during check in and check out time.
