"The hotel was clean and tidy and our room was spotless. But, construction work started in the room next to us at around 7.45am the next morning. Why on earth would the staff allocate people to a room next to this? Really disappointing and it has put us off returning."

"The house and extensive grounds are very well maintained by the owners. It is very well equipped indeed.Communication with Christiane, the host, was excellent and it was nice to meet her and her husband briefly during our stay.We found it an ideal location to explore the region of Värmland including hiking, visiting art galleries and houses/gardens. We also enjoyed a few local specialty restaurants nearby and found a smokehouse near Karlstad.The canoe enabled us to explore the lake shore especially when conditions are fairly calm heading to Gräsmark and sandy beaches.Our stay met our expectations and exceeded them in many instances."

"Cute and nice hotel . Located beautifully surrounded by nature . Michel and Brenda made you feel very welcome and at home , the breakfast was great . Would definitely recommend if you planning on visiting Arvika and its surrounding areas . "
