Fantastic 5 star resort

Cannot fault anything- staff friendly and very helpful, great breakfast overlooking the ocean every morning, dinner at the restaurant was some of the best meals ever. Large resort so it does not feel crowded at either the restaurant or the pool. Great value for money. We stay in the basic room, which gave good privacy and a lovely upmarket feel. There are lots of places to eat outside the resort too.

The private villa and pool was stunning, private and really pretty. Perfect for a family and perfect for privacy. A few issues though; - check in was for 2pm, we arrived around 2:45pm and the cleaners were still in the bathroom. - we did have some growth on the top of the bedhead (stone area) which looked like mould growth. - the last day our room breakfast slip wasn’t taken the evening prior, the wait staff were very apologetic however. The breakfasts, our cleaners, our waiters, ushers, were all really lovely and exceptional service. The check in/out staff seemed very busy and a little dismissive when asked questions around hotel facilities. We went once to the Indonesian restaurant, it was nice. Otherwise a lovely stay.

Beautiful hotel right by the beach

My Wife and I stayed at the Candi Beach Resort and Spa for three nights in February 2024. We booked a Junior Suite, but the Hotel very kindly upgraded us to a Luxury Suite. The Hotel is simply lovely, right by the beach, quiet, clean and well away from the City. The drive from the airport is a little long but we wanted to get away from the City so we didn’t mind. The room was very spacious, modern, clean and well appointed. We ate at two of the restaurants and loved the food; especially the wonderful breakfast. Most notably, the hotel personnel were absolutely wonderful, so kind, helpful and friendly. A great stay and we will be back!

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Candy beach over the last ~10 years. Every time we are more and more impressed with the service quality and property itself. This time we spent a bit extra to get the villa and it was well worth it for the extra space and privacy around the pool. Food is excellent, and don’t miss getting a Balinese healing massage - totally worth the time! The area is close to diving / snorkelling and more outdoor activities like hiking than say Ubud, but the peace is well worth the trek. Thank you to the staff and management who made our 4 days so memorable! We can’t wait to come back.

Great location, lovely beach and pool. Rooms clean and relatively well equipped. Staff are all just great, special mention to trainee Yoga who was always smiling and attentive at breakfast service which was also varied with excellent quality. If you are looking for a place that is quiet, peaceful surrounded by beautiful gardens and beachfront, this is for you. Situated approximately 2 hours north of Denpasar, it is well worth the trip. The staff were super friendly, the rooms and amenities very clean and tidy. A good spot to base yourself for sight seeing in Eastern Bali. I recommend utilising tour bookings at the hotel, using a driver and guide. We had Desy, as our guide, who was very informative with a cheerful deposition. Food options were very good with various options at the three restaurants. There is an ATM across the road from the hotel with a couple of local eateries and a small convenience store. The hotel arranged transport transfers for us, with no issue. In all, we enjoyed our week here and will be back for a future stay.
