Stunning apartment in a beautiful town

We had a wonderful stay and all the family were sad to leave. The apartment is charming, clean and very well equipped. The housekeeper, Antonella, is very helpful and came to our aid when needed. The town is family friendly with some great restaurants and shops. We will miss going out for late night gelato and making friends with the many local cats.

ein schöner Ort!

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem wirklich sehr schönen kleinen Dorf, die Menschen sind sehr sehr freundlich, die nahegelegenen Tuffsteindörfer, die Landschaft, die 40 Min. entfernte Maremma Naturparkküste , all das macht eine Reise dorthin wirklich lohnenswert! Man muß gerne Auto fahren! Die Wohnung ist außergewöhnlich eingerichtet , aber auf jeden Fall eher etwas für den Sommer weil sie recht düster ist, was natürlich der Architektur geschuldet ist. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, mit schönem Geschirr und allen Geräten, die man braucht. Hier wirklich hervorzuheben ist der tolle Alkoven! Leider ist die Wohnung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der SatTV-Empfang funktionierte nur sporadisch wegen starken Windes, die Kissen im Alkoven waren teilweise recht fleckig und die Rattanflächen mancher Stühle kaputt, der mini Abfalleimer in der Küche war im Deckel total verdreckt, Die Bettwäsche war mit dem stark parfümiertesten Waschmittel aller Zeiten gewaschen, selbst für Italien wirklich heftig, wirklich unnötig heutzutage, wenn man ein wenig an die Umwelt denkt, Allergiker und Menschen mit normalem Geruchssinn werden keine Freude haben. Das WLAN funktonierte nicht in allen Zimmern. Durch den offenen Kamin zog jeden Abend ein beisender Rauchgeruch ins Wohnzimmer, wahrscheinlich fehlt die Klappe im Schornstein, die verhindert, dass Rauch nach innen gelangt wenn man selbst nicht mit dem Kamin heizt. Das war sehr unangenehm und hat Hustenreiz und Kopfschmerz verursacht und man mußte ständig lüften. Die Zentralheizung funktioniert sehr gut, und die Wohnung wird schnell warm, sodass 2 std. heizen abends ausreichten. Der Balkon ist sehr schmal und der Ausblick wird leider von einem ziemlich häßlichen gelben Wohnklotz beeinträchtigt, auf den man direkt schaut. Auch das wird im Sommer wenn man im Dunkeln noch draussen sitzen kann und tagsüber unterwegs ist, weniger unschön erscheinen. Es gibt sehr viele Bücher und auch Spiele und es wirkt heimelig. Wenn man die vorhandenen Mängel abstellen würde, dann wäre der Ort sicherlich 100% zum wohlfühlen und entspannen geeignet. Die Räume, die man noch dazumieten könnte, haben wir leider nicht gesehen, also gilt die Bewertung nur der eigentlichen Wohnungmit 2 schlafzimmern. Leider hat ab 15. Oktober schon viel zu im Ort selbst und auch in der Umgebung, Läden, Parks, Restaurants etc. Noch zu erwähnen: Der steile Anstieg zum Wohnhaus ist wirklich nichts für Menschen mit Gehbehinderrung. Dafür ist es aber Autofrei!

Geschmackvolle außergewöhnliche Wohnung in mittelalterlichem Dorf

Der Ort hat seinen ganz eigenen Zauber, man fühlt sich Jahrhunderte zurück versetzt. Die Piazza zieht unzählige Menschen in ihren mittelalterlichen Bann. Und an dieser Piazza ist der Eingang zur Wohnung in einem historischem Haus. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ich würde es Bohemien Vintage nennen. Es gibt hier alles, was man benötigen könnte. Durch die dicken Wände bleibt die Hitze draußen, eine Wohltat nach einem Ausflug in der Sommerhitze. Abends liegt der Balkon im Schatten und man hat eine großartige Aussicht. Im Dorf gibt es zahlreiche sehr gute Restaurants in allen Preisklassen. Zur Weinbar gehts ein paar Meter über die Piazza und hier sitzt man abends sehr gemütlich in der kleinen Gasse mit ausgezeichneten Weinen. Montemerano ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um einige Städte und Dörfer zu besuchen, wie z.B. Rom oder Pitigliano. Die Landschaft ist wunderschön. Es gibt sicher noch viel mehr zu sehen, aber dafür war unsere Zeit zu knapp. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Traumwohnung im Bilderbuchdorf

Die Wohnung im Turm ist ein Traum! Schon der Weg über die Piazza di Castello in diesem wunderschönen Dorf hat uns begeistert. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, sehr geräumig, sehr geschmackvoll mit vielen liebenswerten Details eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort zuhause gefühlt, weil die Wohnung eine "Seele" hat. Die gemütliche Wohnküche mit dem Alkoven im Kamin ist sehr gemütlich und man findet alles, was man braucht. Die Bäder sind modern und geschmackvoll. Auch die Wohn-und Schlafräume strahlen Behaglichkeit und Ruhe aus, die beste Voraussetzung für erholsame Tage, ebenso wie der Blick vom Balkon in die wunderschöne Landschaft. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und werden gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank auch für die vielen hilfreichen und ausführlichen Tipps und den netten Kontakt schon vor Beginn unserer Reise.
