Cévennes Yurt

🌱 Welcome to Les Masades , an eco-retreat in the Cévennes National Park ! Enjoy a peaceful and rejuvenating stay in this tranquil, natural setting. Whether you're traveling as a family, a couple, or solo, this unique location at the crossroads of the Gard, Lozère, and Ardèche regions is ideal for relaxation and tranquility. Numerous outdoor activities await you nearby: hiking, swimming in Lake Villefort or the Chassezac River, and treetop adventure courses.

🛖 The Cévennes yurt is located within the eco-village in a calm and rejuvenating environment with a breathtaking view of nature!



🛌 The yurt's interior includes a double bed (140 x 200 cm), two single beds (90 x 200 cm), and a sofa bed . A cot can be provided upon request. A wood-burning stove is located in the center of the yurt for winter use.



🍳 The kitchen is located in a small, detached stone house, right next to the yurt. It consists of basic elements: two hobs, a fridge, a sink and kitchen utensils (pots, pans, kettle, toaster, plates, coffee makers, teapot, etc.) to make the most of your stay.



🚻 The toilets are dry toilets outside the yurt, with a very beautiful view of the mountain! In the summer, there is a solar shower outside the yurt, and in all seasons, you can use the communal bathroom , located a few meters from the yurt, with shower and toilet.



🗣 From the yurt, you have access to the common areas of the eco-village. The village square is a place for sharing and conviviality where holidaymakers and residents of Masades can meet.



💦 The natural swimming pool is also a relaxing spot with its wooden deck and sun loungers, perfect for soaking up the summer sun. The pool's water comes from our spring and is naturally filtered by reeds. Generally, the pool is suitable for swimming from the end of May to the end of July, as the water level drops too low to replenish it after that time.



🧶 You can also discover the Masades shop , which offers items and services from the artisans of the hamlet: basketry, herbal teas, honey, jewelry, etc. Free Wi-Fi access and a coworking space are available here. You can also use the 4G network throughout the premises.



🚲 Upon reservation, you can enjoy on-site Rebozo relaxation treatments offered by one of the residents of the eco-village, as well as vegetarian breakfasts and dinners prepared with organic products.



🎒 Nearby, you can discover many tourist attractions:

- hikes , which can be done as day trips, starting from Les Masades or in the surrounding area (Mont Lozère, Bois de Païolive)

- swimming spots (Villefort lake, Chassezac gorges, Mazet Plage)

- bike rides in the region

- local markets , in Les Vans or Villefort

- Discovering local heritage (La Garde Guérin)

🚰 The eco-village is supplied with untreated drinking spring water . In summer, it must be used sparingly. Bed linen and towels are not provided ; please bring your own. They can also be rented on site upon prior request.



🥾 For your comfort, we recommend you bring closed shoes and flashlights or headlamps for the night.



🧘🏼‍♀️ In our eco-village, we have chosen a lifestyle close to nature , vegetarian , and free from tobacco and alcohol . Therefore, we ask that you refrain from consuming these substances in the communal areas. Thank you!
