The hotel needs an upgrade, rooms are old, and the cleaning was not top as well, coffeemaker had clear dust on it. We love the area, but won’t be back until an upgrade has been done. Breakfast is good.

Loved the location, reception team were helpful, beds were comfortable, breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed a few pints in the pub. We had a really nice visit.

The room was well equipped with a comfortable bed, desk, chair and stable Wifi. Temperature could be individually regulated, which was also a plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cleaning was generally alright, but not very thorough. I found some hair leftover and the bathtub just didn't look properly cleaned. Breakfast was delicious, but the breakfast room was quite odd. Very colourful walls and no windows. Personally I found this not to be a particularly comfy atmosphere, but to each their own. Overall it was a pleasent stay.

Highly recommended hotel
The hotel is very clean and confortable. The beds look uncomfortable in the pictures, but thats so deceptive, they are extremely comfortable. The breakfasts ate fantastic, continental if you want it or bacon and eggs etc. The location is also very good. Lastly a quick mention about the Bishops Arms.. a very popular pub with the locals and for good reason, its so so snug and cosey.

Location is convenient and this was a repeat visit for us. Without prompting they arranged for a room that was more suited to my husband’s needs as he has a disability. Secure car parking on site is extremely useful. Breakfast offering remains excellent covering all our needs with plenty of choice. For evening meals the Lilla Torg area is close by and gives guests plenty of options.

Great hotel with yummy breakfast and good location
The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great breakfast that catered for various dietary requirements. Room and hotel was generally clean and well maintained. The bed/mattress were a bit soft/old, but still fine for sleeping.

Amazing hotel all the way through

The hotel is central - close to train station and town centre. The bedroom was well appointed- clean and with lots of extras - toiletries , tea / coffee etc . The breakfast was excellent with so many choices of foods. The breakfast staff were polite and professional. The reception staff were friendly and most helpful special mention to Adam and Julia.

This is such a well run hotel. Clean, comfortable, thoughtfully appointed (good blackout shades, nice bed, good bathroom water pressure). The location is 10-15 minutes' walk from the train station, depending on which route you take and how much luggage you're lugging. It was a much nicer walk without luggage - oh so many cobblestones. We requested a quiet room, which they provided; it was nicely tucked away and quiet, though a solid minute's walk from the lifts - this place is much bigger than it appears on the outside! Staff could not have been any friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast buffet is indeed spectacular. My husband and I are not breakfast people usually, but we felt morally obligated to take advantage of it. Everything from waffles to yogurt bar to smoked salmon and ham to pickled herring to a cornucopia of fresh breads. I would be delighted to stay here again and highly recommend it. A bonus is that the on-site restaurant (oddly, an English pub; we went one night for a beer and a snack) has perhaps the best fries I've ever had in my life. Steak-cut, super crispy outside and creamy inside. They're not even on the menu and apparently they can't get them from their supplier all the time, but give it a shot if you like fried potatoes.
