We liked the size of the room and where the hotel was located in the town. It was easy to access the F1 shuttle and walkable for many good cafes and restaurants. There was also a very cute dog that may have lived with the owner that was a big highlight. We did not like the condition of the hotel or room. The pictures on the website were obviously of a better time for the hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, the two very old pillows were almost not pillows, the bed linens and towels were very worn. The shower had great water pressure but the shower enclosure was awkward and ineffective. The bathroom floor was very slippery with so much water getting on it. There was no tv, the wifi was not good and the parking is just general street parking ( which we had no problem finding parking). Overall, I would personally not stay at this hotel again. It is way too run down and old. However the place would be cute if some love and care was put back into it.
We arrived for a three day stay and the hotel was shut. Apparently the owner was resident but would not open the premises. We had to arrange alternative accommodation
Missed check in Day one (my fault) but then on day two when we went during the times it indicated it was still shut and none of the phones numbers that were on the website or doors worked. Have been charged for rooms I was unable to even get to into the building for.
The worst hotel in the world!!! I did not stay here, no one was there during check in time. I rang more than 12 times, i have taken pictures of the abandoned looking place.
Do not stay here. Weird hotel in centre of Malmedy close to Spa race track - but hotel in lack of maintenance (eg mildew at ceiling in bath room, electrical socket hanging from wall by its wires) towels seem neglected. Check in what used to be bar/restaurant but now some sort of fashion shop

Disliked: Staff & service
There was no stay. The landlady was drunk and refused to check us in. According to people in the town she has a serious problem with alcohol. The hotel should be taken off your site.
this should be zero stars.Expedia should NOT list this dump. No housekeeping. no TV. no one at reception at any time after our arrival. spotty wi-fi. Overflowing garbage can (one, broken) and stained towels. wet towels on the floor for three days. Broken toilet seat and lid. moldy grout in shower.

This hotel was still shut on 15th May 2023 shut
This hotel is shut so no comments are relevant
We arrived for a three night stay and waited three hours but no-one responded to any phone calls/texts
We had to make alternative arrangements on a very busy weekend due to the Spa Classic motor racing
We all had to pay a premium and our party had to stay in four different hotels
The rooms are not only showing their age, but a lack of general maintenance. On day of checkout, the property wanted to charge us 100 euros to store our bags until the end of the day. The restaurant around the corner was kind enough to store them for free.
Generally pretty terrible. Wildly overpriced. Musty rooms, no fridge, plug in desk fan for ventilation, only two of the outlets worked, whole place just felt sad. Seemed like a bit of a running joke to the locals I talked to.
This was the worst hotel i have ever been too. I had to clean the bathroom myself can you imagine??? The owner doesn’t seem to be a bad guy but he lost it really bad!! That’s a nice hotel but it needs a lot of love right now!!!
NO Staff, never saw anyone at reception or elsewhere for the duration of our stay. Restaurant/bar closed. Was suppose to be half board. Room clean but v hot and odd odour. TV removed from wall. All rather unpleasant.
Do NOT recomend
I wouldnt advise using this hotel. Room was tiny and with loose wiring and 1970s decor. No parking although advised but street parking was no problem. Washing was drying in public areas and the whole place permanently smelt of stale cooking. Didnt risk the food. Room was clean but seriously overpriced for what is really a hostel. Malmedy lovely and highly recommended. Just stay somewhere else!
Hotel closed despite our confirmed booking and owner refused to open after we had waited outside for 2 hours.
Had to find scarce and more expensive accommodation at short notice.
Will not use Hotels.com to book next time.

The hotel was closed upon arrival and did not re-open. The manager, who various shop keepers told us, had a severe alcohol problem was seen by one of our party who told her that we had reservations and she slammed the door in his face telling him to go away. Late in the afternoon, our party of 9 had to find alternative accommodation in the town which was not easy. This appalling experience needs to be addressed and you should not be offering the hotel for accommodation on your website.
I'm sorry but I have to be honest - this hotel is overpriced by about 80%. It's very old inside, very basic, not especially comfortable and has no facilities beyond a bed and a shower. The bar area has been turned into some strange clothes shop/laundry and is completely cluttered. Manageable for one night but I really can't recommend it. Did I mention price? We stayed in some lovely hotels in France and Belgium during a week's tour and this was the most expensive and many many levels below the others. Oh, and it's difficult to find, because the outside looks NOTHING like the advertised picture (which was what drew us in to book).
It was awful, the photos online did not show this Hotel as it was. The towels in the room were dirty and smelt very musty. We did ask for more, but this never happened. Shower leaked all over the floor the blinds in the bathroom didn't close so people could see in when you are in the shower. No TV in the room ( but a wall bracket where it was) No kettle, and the hairdryer didn't work. Says there's a carpark but its on street parking so no carpark.
To be honest Hotels.com should remove this from their list.
After finally finding a way into the hotel we confirmed our booking then we were totally ignored. There was a mess on the floor which the male person took photos of. They seemed to have an argument about our booking. The male totally ignored us and the woman went into the cafe and started doing something there. After 20mins or more of being totally ignored we walked out to find another hotel. The behaviour of the owners was totally odd. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone and think that you should take the hotel off your list. If we paid anything to stay here it should be refunded.
