Mallet Pond State Forest Tours and Activities

The check-in was horrible. We are a family of 6 with 3 kids and we had to wait for 1 hour in the lobby to get checked in. We were told to sit and wait that someone will come get us. We were sitting and waiting; freezing ( the lobby is so cold) and no one communicated with us. After 1:15 minutes of sitting, I went to the front desk to check the status and the young lady said "oh your room is ready! sorry " while we all were sitting in front of the lobby with restless 2 years old kid. Horrible! once we went to our room, it was great room and perfect location!

I have stayed here many times. This time the room and bathroom were not well cleaned. The ice bucket bag was never changed nor the water thrown out. The pillows are ridiculous—there’s nothing left in them. I am disappointed.

Great View, But Comfort and Convenience Fell Short Our stay had some positives, but several issues made it less enjoyable than expected. The highlight was definitely the incredible view of Central Park from our room — truly stunning and a memorable part of our trip. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly, and we ran into other guests experiencing the same problem. We had to ask for a fan, but even then, sleeping was uncomfortable due to the heat. While all six elevators were working, wait times were still surprisingly long. In the evenings, the lobby would get quite crowded with people heading to the rooftop, which made coming and going a bit chaotic for hotel guests. Overall, a decent stay in a great location, but some important comfort and service aspects really need improvement.
