"Really great stay, studio was brilliant. We were unable to find anywhere to eat on Saturday night, but because studio was so well appointed we were able to cook ourselves a meal. Everything about the studio was good. Aubusson was interesting with lots to see, but our impression was marred by there being stinky dog poo everywhere. The mayor needs to organise pavement cleaning. "Nous avons passé un très bon week-end 15 personnes dans le gîte de Jean-Paul. Il se trouve face à l’église dans un petit village très calme. Le fait que chaque chambre ait sa salle de bain apporte beaucoup de confort. La cuisine est peu vestuste et manque de rangement pour les courses mais on s’adapte ! "We had the most wonderful time at this stunning property. Check-in and check-out were extremely smooth. The farmhouse has been beautifully renovated and is a unique property, in an extremely tranquil location. The surrounding countryside, villages, larger towns and (of course) the mountains were beautiful - and (in May at least) were all peaceful and quiet. Thoroughly recommended!"

There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. "I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

"There is very nice parking lot for your car. The staff is excellent and check in was very nice with an actual person. No self check-in required. Just be aware there are no faciiites close by as you are out in the country. The hotel does have a nice restaurant service with limited outs and a bar with wine and beer and some other alcohol. The stay was very pleasant and I recommend it though only if you have your own transportation. There are faciiities close by but you would need a car to get there. "
