"Lovely setting - nice touch having flowers on the bed and turn down service. The units all look inwards to the pool which was used regularly by us. At night the pool has lights and makes for a romantic swim. There was no jug to make tea or coffee or facilities to cook yet there was a fry pan, pots and dishes. Even microwave would have been useful. The restaurant wan't operational - we would have used it. Breakfast was delivered to the room daily and was good."

"Driftwood is a really chilled hotel right on the beach. We had a lovely couple of nights to end our Kenyan trip. Take this place for what it is and you'll have a great time. The staff are so friendly and the food is really nice. Enjoyed it"

"This hotel is amazing! They could charge three times as much and it would still be worth it! The staff were so kind and helpful, especially Judy in reception. We wished we could stay longer and will definitely come back. The resort is in the very safe and posh part of Malindi. The villas next door are for the super rich. It's just a short walk to the beach and the breakfast in the morning was also very good. "
