"I stayed here with my adult son for five nights in August 2025. It was the most comfortable hotel stay I have ever expedienced, and I slept better than at home due to the excellent mattress and pillows. The air-conditioning was a great boon during the heat wave and we tended to sight-see in the morning and enjoy a siesta in our rooms until it was time for a cocktail in the roof bar before dinner. The breakfast spread is absolutely heroic in its scale and variety. The staff were kind and helpful without exception."

"Nicely situated in Split Old Town. Close to taxi drop-offs and where most tours start. Room was comfortable, especially the bed. All staff were very friendly and room service was meticulous. Breakfast was of a high standard with plenty of choice."

"My husband & I visited Split with our two children ages 6 & 9. We stayed for 2 nights and Hotel Kastel had everything we needed. It had a beautiful view from outside the bedroom windows, close distance to everything you could need in Split! If you have a car, the parking offered off-site is quite a ways away from the hotel, but that was told to use in advance. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Kastel!! "
