"We came to Crete, Greece for a wedding of close friends. We chose this hotel to be away from the wedding chaos and hustle and stay somewhere quiet and a bit out of the way. This location exceeded our expectations and then some! The food, the staff, the chill atmosphere was exactly what we needed. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and attentive, we will coming back for sure!"

"We were 3 families staying at Caretta Beach Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is just steps away from the beach, extremely well maintained and unbelievably clean. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere this spotless! Housekeeping did an excellent job. The location was also perfect, a great home base for day trips to Elafonisi Beach and Balos. The staff’s kindness really stood out throughout our visit. Adonis at the restaurant was so friendly and made us feel welcome every day. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to! Lea and Katerina at the restaurant always greeted us with a smile and Maria at the bar was so kind. The hotel manager, Yianni, was very helpful and gave us fantastic local tips that made exploring the area so much easier. Everything about our stay was perfect. We felt right at home. Maleme Mare Beach Resort Hotel

"The owners / managers (Kyriakos and Stavros) along with all the staff could not have done anymore for us. We received a room upgrade and the staff are so helpful with sorting of any issues / responding to queries. There was no problem gaining sunbeds around the two pools and the buffet style ‘all inclusive meals and drinks’ were very good. The hotel has developed a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and this was an ideal place for a relaxed family holiday. There is a bus stop outside the hotel with a regular bus service to take you to nearby towns if needed. Would definitely look to return. "

"The service is excellent. The property is recently refurbished and the freshness of interior and exterior design shine through. The food is decent and there is a good variety. Snack bars operating through out day time with kids favorite food. We really liked this facility. The beach is in the property as well, meaning it's accessible through out the day. "

"We truly loved this home and all aspects of it. The home had plenty of space, large showers, large kitchen and living areas and a wonderful pool. The outdoor area was so cozy and relaxing which really added to our wonderful stay. The beach was an easy 1km walk away and had plenty of places to lay in the sun along with many dining options. I am so happy we chose this place as we looked at over 70 places before making our decision. We wanted an authentic/older home true to the area which we were staying and this did not disappoint. The hosts were so very nice and we are grateful they care so much about their homes, their guests and ultimately making our stay so wonderful. Thank you so much!!!"

Solimar Aquamarine Resort

"Although the staff was very nice helpful, and professional, the resort is in desperate need for maintenance. We also had to change room 3 times (on the basis of a disturbing noise in the first one) and every room we were given had severe maintenance issues. Our third one (246) also had a really bad sewage smell coming from the interior garden. Would not recommend."
