"Our stay at Velassaru was amazing. We spent 12 days on the island, and did not want to leave... The level of service and dedication of the staff are beyond the words. The hotel is ideal for family or romantic getaway. The island is very small and that makes it really quiet and peaceful. We loved the fact the whole island is set in lush greenery and i feels very private despite full occupancy. Staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. We stayed on half board basis and there was always something to choose from. I am sure there are better resorts for snorkeling but if you you are patient you find some good marine life as well (we did snorkel on the surf beach behind the reception)...

"Luxury and modern hotel, friendly staff, nice food and pleasant atmosphere with lovely lounge music at the restaurant. Beaches are not overcrowded, beautiful swimming pool area, rooms are just beautiful with stunning ocean views. We were so pleased to see staff welcoming us upon arrival on the hotel pierce. WiFi could be a little bit faster and we also expected to try more exotic fruits, but overall experience was perfect anyway. Thank you."
