"The facilities were amazing and a perfect fit for our family Thanksgiving celebration. The kitchen allowed for multiple work stations, and the dining area was adjusted to fit 22 for dinner. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment area on the second floor. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the whole place was very stylishly furnished and decorated. Deon was very helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries. "

"Host was very responsive. Extremely easy check-in/check-out. Quiet, simple and right in the heart of the town. Walking distance to everything. The stairs are very narrow and steep but there are handles and small landings on each floor that make it easier to navigate. Parking is in the alley behind the building but it was a very short walk to the main door. It was clean and perfect for a short stay. "

"We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners much but when we did they were very responsive! My only recommendation for improvement would be to have the portapoty cleaned out — it’s in desperate need, but we were camping at the end of the day and it didn’t ruin our tip. Overall we would definitely come back. It was the perfect weekend. "

"A perfect place, centrally located, and lots to do in the Decorah area. The house had everything we needed, and it was very clean and comfortable. The hosts, Amy and Jackson, were very responsive, and check-in was effortless. I highly recommend this property. If you are adventurous, you can drive up to “Pikes Peak” State Park in McGregor, Iowa, with its breathtaking views of the Mississippi River. Or drive over to La Crosse, Wisconsin, for a paddle Boat ride on the Mississippi. There’s plenty to do in town, with a great variety of restaurants and shopping options.We are looking forward to returning in April. "
