Spectra Lodge Boutique Hotel

Spectra Lodge Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"They are a themed boutique hotel but should be known for their incredible customer service. The owner, James goes out of his way to help in all aspects of your travel in Chile. He even found sources for me to buy tire chains in another town. The other owner, Chris is an excellent cook and the breakfast that is included was great. I opted to have dinner one night and it too was fabulous. They are the absolute definition of great hosts and super fun to talk to. Very interesting and experienced in life. The property is on a bike path and handy to the ski area (20 minutes). The rooms are themed - I was in the vampire room. I stay in hotels/airbnb’s about 120 nights a year and this one is exceptional."

You'll find a selection of guesthouses, small hotels, and cabins dotted along or just off Ruta 181, often with views of the surrounding mountains and forests. It's a small, spread-out settlement, so having a base here puts you within easy reach of the few local shops and eateries. For couples looking for a relaxed outdoor escape, staying near the village centre is ideal. Many accommodations offer direct access to hiking and cycling trails, and it's a short drive to attractions like the Malalcahuello National Reserve and the Lonquimay Volcano. You can easily spend your days exploring nature and return to a comfortable, peaceful base.Families with older children who enjoy active holidays will also find the village centre convenient.
