"I truly enjoyed my experience at the lodge. It is the perfect getaway as you're close to Malelane Gate. It's also very clean and tidy. The self-catering is a wonderful option, but there is also a restaurant when you don't feel like cooking. The spa is absolutely amazing with the friendliest staff working there."

"The place was fantastic! So close to the Malalane Gate! The area is safe with easy access to local restaurants and stores. The property itself was a shock in that it’s nicer and quieter than described. I loved it. Plus, I got to see my first wild monkeys on the property! The people were all kind and helpful. "The resort is lovely, the staff provided excellent service so would recommend. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with one of the tours we booked, the places visited were great but the transport provided (given advertised as a luxury tour) was unacceptable, a rickety dirty taxi! The owner needs to take better ownership of this, we (group of 10) didn’t get a very good result when speaking to him of this. "

"Buckler's Lodge is located right along the Crocodile River. We saw large herds of elephants each day we were there. We received excellent service from the staff and enjoyed clean and roomy accomodations."

"Big room and daily view of monkeys. Good dinners and good location to Kruger and a local small town. The pool is smaller than pictures show but still nice to lounge in the shade near the pool. "
