"The hotel was quite nice and kept clean, with very comfortable beds. However, the main issue was that the air conditioning didn't work properly, and the heating option was also nonfunctional. When I checked in late at night, the room was freezing cold at just 13°C, and the heating still didn't work. I requested a portable heater, but it was too small and took ages to warm the room. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing; after staying less than 10 hours in the room I didn't feel comfortable, and the prices are quite high. Additionally, the shuttle drivers were very rude to guests and need to learn more respect and politeness."

"This was by far the most disappointing hotel of this trip and one I would not choose to stay at again. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke upon arrival, despite the hotel being advertised as non-smoking. The rooms are very dated and in need of significant updating. The beds and pillows were also extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The room was also lacking basic amenities that many travelers expect. There was no fridge, microwave, or coffee maker, which made the stay much less convenient than anticipated. On top of that, guests are charged extra for both parking and breakfast, which felt unreasonable given the overall condition and quality of the hotel. The only positive aspect of the stay was the shower, which was clean, modern, and had great water pressure. Overall, this hotel fell far short of expectations. Between the cigarette smell, uncomfortable accommodations, outdated rooms, lack of basic amenities, and additional charges for parking and breakfast, I cannot recommend it and would not return."

"This place is lovely. Very quiet while being close to everything to see and do in Malahide. The caretaker, Tia, was a wonderful welcome to our stay. She showed us around the property and gave great recommendations for the town. It was our last evening before flying out and Malahide Guest Rooms was a delightful place to relax and unwind."
