Had a great stay at this hotel in Makkah! The deluxe room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a couple or solo traveller. Plenty of food, ice cream and grocery options nearby which was really convenient. The service was excellent. I accidentally overbooked a non-refundable night through Expedia but the hotel was very understanding and worked with Expedia to help refund 1 night. Really appreciated their kindness and flexibility. Only about 10 minutes from the Haram. The only downside is that it’s on a hill.. so the walk back can be a little tiring. However, they do sometimes have a golf buggy to help you get up and down free of charge. Overall a very comfortable stay and highly recommended!

Staffs were very courteous and helpful; they went above and beyond to accommodate us well. Rooms are very tiny, and so the bathroom- however the room service gave their best to keep them clean.

The staff were amazing. Bell boy Saqib very friendly and helpful. Abdul Rehman greeted us at breakfast in the morning very pleasant guy. The golf cart driver Mohammed amazing person always smile on his face. Buffet breakfast was good. I would come back again in the near future. Thank you Staff of Samama.

I had a great experience staying at Samama Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. I really appreciated the excellent service and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Samama Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable stay and close to haram. I look forward to staying here again! The room was so small that it only fit me and my luggage ( not even My luggage). The team there is very helpful, respectful, and willing to assist with anything. They are very courteous people. One suggestion for them is to ensure that guests do not smoke in their rooms; I was on the 10th floor and could smell the smoke coming from the other room.

Access to the hotel by transportation was impossible. Hotel located at the top of the hill with no help for the guests who have accessibility issues. Rooms reminded us coffin homes of Hong Kong with stains full of bed sheets.

The room was clean. But the major issue was the fact they purposely removed the light switch so if you wanted to turn off the lights, you hard to remove the room card from the power switch. So that meant you couldn’t charge your phone or use the bathroom at night unless you put the card back in the power switch and the lights would turn off. It was terrible. How do they expect 3 people in a room to stay like that? Also the shower was an open shower, so water would be all over the bathroom floor.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The buffet was extremely limited and far below expectations. The biggest issue, however, was that the water was cut off for an extended period and was never restored during our stay. We had no choice but to leave and book another hotel. This was especially difficult because we were performing Umrah and needed access to water for wudu and basic hygiene. A hotel serving pilgrims should ensure reliable essential services. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here.
