"The location of the house is great, the pool is nice, and the house is clean. The only issue is there were no bath towels even though the listing stated linens were included. There was no way to wash the dishes, no dish soap, dish towel, no sponge. There were no basics. A VRBO home is supposed to be a home away from home, this was not a home. Nice place though."

"We had the best few days at Bastide Oliviers. Fanny is a fantastic host, lots of lovely homely touches including homemade jam and fresh lemonade. The gite is on the outskirts of Carpentras and is a complete haven. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but are only minutes from all the facilities. The apartment is large, we are a family of 5 and it was lovely and spacious. It has a nice balcony that we ate out on each evening. Although the apartment is part of the owners house Fanny is very discreet. It was well situated to see the sites of Provence and even further afield. Would definitely recommend and would love to return."

Catherine has thought of everything!We got lost and arrived close to midnight. No problem for Catherine. "Attention: we found out that they used the camera directed to the pool during our stay, although this is forbidden by french law. Earlier customers already complaint about privacy infringement. Besides, due to heavy wind, some furniture outside was broken. They took without any warning an important amount from our bank account. So, if you rent there: you need to force them to see you before your leave and have a signed agreement. The house itself is fine."
