The garden and swimming pool were lovely. deckchairs not very comfortable. Reception often not manned. Promised traditional gin drink - didn't get it. The room we started in was small, very dark with useless lighting. Stairs were made of very slippery marble - dangerous and husband fell down them on 1st morning. Information was lacking - I had to ask for a map and not until 4th day were we offered bus timatable, restaurant list etc. We wre offered a free upgrade for last 3 nights in a much nicer room.

The staff were excellent - very helpful and polite, and the location is perfect, as it’s close to the harbour, restaurants and shops. However, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t very effective - it took far too long to cool the room down. Also, more storage would have been nice - we only bought one fairly small suitcase of clothes between two of us, but there wasn’t enough space.

Modern rooms in excellent condition. Air con was lack lustre and rooms facing road (central location) had lots of light at night as no blackout curtains/blinds. Noisy overall - noise from other rooms. Breakfast was light on options but well presented.

Unique, comfortable and clean. Well placed in central Mahon, with covered oarking (for a small cost)
