No shopping near by, beach is very small and requires walking, front desk service is horrible and forced 10am checkout. Much better resorts near by. The only plus of the resort is some amazing views.

Die Anlage liegt sehr schöne und macht auf den ersten Blick einen sehr guten Eindruck. Location ist super. Leider fehlt hier etwas die klare Linie. Die Kleinigkeiten/Details stimmen nicht so richtig. Die Motivation der Mitarbeiter etwas besonderes zu „zaubern“ ist nicht vorhanden. Ein Management mit etwas mehr Gefühl für Stil/Lifestyle könnte hier etwas tolles schaffen. Zimmer und Sauberkeit waren auf jeden Falk OK. Frühstück war auch lecker. Leider ist Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht im Gleichgewicht. Bei €250+ die Nacht, hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet

Overordnet var hotellet fint. Men til å være et hotell på et lite sted, burde eierene kanskje tilrettelegge litt mer for aktiviteter utenfor hotelletsområde eller ha et bredere tilbud på onsite: som ala carte meny, bedre transportservice til lokale restauranter, ting å gjøre på hotellet m.m.

Tyylikäs, siisti ja upea hotelli

Tilava ja tyylikäs huone, hyvin moderni. Ihana parveke ja upea näköala merelle. Uima-allas ja aamiainen erittäin hyvät. Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Hotellialue rauhallinen ja ’vuoristoinen’, golfautolla kuitenkin matkat alueella hoituivat hyvin. Ei ehkä sovellu lapsiperheille. Sijainti oli vähän syrjäinen, mutta bussit kulkivat tiheään, jos halusi saaren itärannalle tai Victorian kaupunkiin.

Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses et donne une vue sur la baie la piscine à débordement avec vue sur mer est splendide, le petit-déjeuner est un brunch, le dîner du soir est un buffet à thème où on y mange très bien je recommande cet hôtel où nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Ruhige, familiäre Anlage ca. 10 min vom Strand

Strand in ca. 10-min Fußweg entfernt, feinster Sand und riesen Steine, sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht. Eine Insel-Tour mit einem Taxi oder Leihauto (Achtung Linksverkehr) ist sehr empfehlenswert. Für Erholungssuchende eine sehr zu empfehlende Anlage, wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Beautiful views and comfy stay

The hotel is remote from Victoria but offers everything you need for a great vacation; restaurant, beach access, spa, gym, and bar/lounge. The room was well maintained and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating; Ravish is an excellent representative of the Valmer and completely focused on customer service. It was an amazing vacation made possible by the resort and its staff. My only recommendation is to get a rental car if there are plans for sight-seeing (Seychelles observes British driving rules). I would highly recommend the Valmer for anyone heading to the Seychelles.

Excelente trato personal vistas preciosas.

El hotel esta bien, buena relación precio calidad. Esta situado cerca de dos playas muy bonitas y además las vistas son preciosas. La habitación e amplia y la terraza muy agradable. La cama de la habitación es demasiado blanda. La cocina viene muy bien para preparar algo ligero de cenar.

Liegt ca. 10 min vom Strand in den Hang gebaut.Frühstück in dieser Preisklasse nicht angemessen,nicht mal Joghurt, dafür Designer Teller,und schöne nutzlose Salz und Pfefferstreuer,braucht kein Mensch.

Schönes Resort mit Schwächen beim Personal

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war zwar freundlich, aber kurz. Besonders Willkommen haben wir uns nicht gefühlt. Auch während des Aufenthaltes hatten wir eher den Eindruck zu stören, wenn wir uns mit Fragen oder Anliegen an die Rezeption wandten. Die Ozean-View Suite ist sehr schön und neu, mit einem großen Balkon ausgestattet. Das Resort insgesamt ist sehr schön gestaltet mit einem wunderschönen Pool, aber da und dort schon etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück ist zwar recht umfangreich, schade, dass es kein richtiges Brot, sondern nur Toast gibt und immer die 3 gleichen Käsesorten angeboten werden. Das Servicepersonal war leider sehr unmotiviert und kümmerte sich kaum um das Wohl der Gäste. Meist standen sie in Grüppchen zusammen und unterhielten sich oder spielten mit ihren Smartphones hinter der Bar. Schade!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ristorante ottimo sia per la colazione che la cena. Consiglio HB. Le Suite e le Ocean vista sono ottime ma.anche le.altre. Stupenda piscina. Personale discreto. Bella e lunga spiaggia davanti al resort. In collina non adatto a persone con problemi motori esiste trasporto con auto elettriche. CONSIGLIATO.

Wouldn't recommend given the price and services

Very much overpriced for what is given. Cons: Only provided bottled water on first day, otherwise needed to buy from restaurant. Price at grocery down the street was 14, price in restaurant was 50. Half board does not include soft drinks (60 rupee) Does not actually have proper room service. No menus in room. When I called to ask for one, they said I would have to go to the restaurant to get one. I told them that defeats the purpose, they then offered to connect me to the restaurant for them to read the menu to me. When we ordered, there was a 100 rupee fee. Private pool was not actually private as it was visible on the main path to the main restaurant. We requested a privacy contraption of some kind and were told it would be taken care of by 10am the next day; which never happened even after multiple follow ups. When I called to cancel my airport drop off for end of trip because we found a cheaper driver (half price the hotel was offering); they had no record of the airport drop off being requested Very little information about excursions or any kind of information about what to do. We were offered 2 different excursions which were canceled at 8pm the night before. Very far from the north area of mahe, where most activities are. The grounds are very dark at night and the hotel is on a hill. On our last day we lost power at 9am. When we called the front desk we were told there was scheduled maint. On the island and the power would be out 9-3, but we were not informed pri

Would not recommend this hotel

Must have a car to stay here. Too remote. Bad traffic and no sidewalk made it dangerous to walk to the beach. Room was dark. Could not get any food except expensive buffet after 5pm. Staff was fine.

Ruime kamers, schitterend zwembad

Mooi hotel met ruime kamers, vriendelijk personeel en een goed ontbijt. Het hotel ligt tegen een heuvel op, dus soms moet je een stuk bergop lopen. Maar als je dat niet wilt kun je de receptie bellen en wordt je met een golfcar opgehaald. Het zwembad ligt helemaal bovenaan en heeft een schitterend uitzicht over de zee (onder is trouwens nog een tweede kleiner zwembad).

Resort in mitten von Palmen

Wir waren zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Resort. Das Personal war überaus freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und eine große Unterstützung bei der Planung von Exkursionen zu den benachbarten Inseln La Digue und Praslin. Das Mietauto konnten wir direkt über das Resort buchen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war überaus lecker und sehr umfangreich - viel frisches Obst (Mango, Papaya, Melonen) und Crepés und Omelettes :)
