Top Magic Bag Hotel Reviews

American Inn and Suites Ferndale

American Inn and Suites Ferndale

8/10 Good
"I stayed here for a weekend, at the time of it, there were some amenities that have seen better days. However speaking with the owners, they were aware of it and mentioned they were working on updating the property after acquiring it months earlier. The beds were fine, and the room and bathroom were clean, good enough for me. The hotel is a work in progress, but it’s a great budget option, and in a great location close to the bars, restaurants and shops in Ferndale, as well as a quick trip to Downtown Detroit. Lastly, it was nice to be able to just pay a $25 fee, instead of a $100 security deposit, which you are given a choice of what you want to pay when you arrive, much easier that way. I would stay again, and recommend it to others who want a fair deal in a good location. Next time I’ll be looking to see what has changed."
