Just the location was amazing! Everything was nice and clean when we got there. It is a great location. In the middle of everything that you can think of.
Most definitely going to be coming back.
We enjoyed our stay, the place was extremely close to the shops and amenities downtown maggie valley and about a 15-20 min drive to Cherokee. The host was very quick at responding and was accommodating, they allowed us to check in a little bit early so we could unload the motorcycles to ride. We would definitely stay here again in the future
Highly recommended. Quiet neighborhood. Clean cabin with a wonderful, HUGE spa tub in master bedroom. Excellent communication with host and easy check in.

We had a wonderful time! My kiddos loved this cabin especially the sweet s’mores kits and the jacuzzi tub.
This is my family’s 6th year staying in this cabin in Twinbrooks in Maggie Valley. We love everything about it, the location, the real fireplace, the outdoor fire pit and indoor hot tub. My kids like to ski and the location is just a couple mile to the Cataloochee Ski Lodge. We love the cabin and location so much we have already reserved for next year!
Perfect cabin for our family and a friend. Centrally located to everything we wanted to do and see while we were in the mountains. Cabin was clean, comfortable and convenient. Loved the porch swing and probably would have used the fire pit but weather was a bit too wet. Will definitely be back again.
Great place. Pet friendly, close to everything in Maggie valley, short ride to waynesville or Cherokee. Host was very easy to reach and communicate with.
We loved this cabin and all it offered: the stone fireplace, sitting area by the creek and the whirlpool tub. Kitchen had everything we needed including a crockpot. Would love to be there in warmer weather to enjoy the porch and yard more.
This place has everything you need! Just pack your clothes and check in! Coffee maker and keurig fully stocked kitchen even had a special treat all the stuff to make smores by the fire pit!! The beds were comfy not to soft not to hard just right! Great quiet neighborhood and right in the heart of Maggie Valley! Definitely a must stay if in the area!!
Very smooth and easy check in/check out. Clean with nice little extra touches from bathroom supplies (q-tips, soaps, shampoo….) to kitchen supplies (coffee, creamer, Clorox wipes….). Also lovely pool access with little crowd. Will return.
Very cozy and laid out well with bedrooms and baths on each end. Little special extras included coffee bar and soaps and detergents at hand. Overall pleased except for kitchen dishes and utensils were sparse.
The cabin is well appointed and clean. The updated bathrooms were great. I really enjoyed the swing and firepit as well. We enjoyed cooking our Thanksgiving dinner there as well. The only issue I had (which I didn't take any stars away since its a preference thing) is the master bed was way too soft for me- my back likes hard mattresses.
My family had a comfortable stay at Penelope's two-bedroom cabin. Penelope is very responsive to our questions. The cabin is easy to get to. It is super clean and beds are all comfortable. I wish it had some relatively large microwavable bowls for heating family-sized meals. Other than that, the kitchen is well equipped. Will definitely stay again.
This is the cutest little cabin that has more than enough room for a family of five! It was so clean and the beds slept great! As a mom, I LOVED that there was a working washer and dryer. The fire pit area was beautiful (take bug spray/repellant) and my kids loved playing in the creek that runs beside the cabin. The property owners are great and checked on us after we were there a few hours and then again the next day. The indoor pool on the resort is very clean and well kept as well. We would definitely stay here again!!!
Nice cabin. Clean. Good fireplace. Love Maggie Valley. Sad to see so many new houses and cabins building all around. Privacy and noise will be an issue in the near future.
We really enjoyed staying at Penelope's Cabin in Maggie Valley. The location was very centralized. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and a card celebrating our Anniversary! We chose the cabin because we planned to enjoy a concert at Cherokee Casino. For the price of one night at the hotel we were able to stay in this cute 2 bedroom cabin with a kitchen and jetted tub. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. My husband even remarked on the personalized touches. We would definitely come back and stay with Penelope again!
Comfortable Cabin Right In the Middle of Maggie Valley
This cabin is a wonderful homey spot in Maggie Valley. The cabin was clean, with plenty of towels, extra blankets, pillows, etc.
The owner was thoughtful and even left a card and cupcake when they learned it was my birthday weekend.
The porch was a great comfortable place to hang out.
One note is that the photo shows a large porch with a picnic table and creek, a shared area not attached to the home. There is a creek, but it is smaller and located behind the firepit. We would definitely stay again when looking for an affordable spot for a quick getaway in the NC mountains.
Property was great. Very clean and easy to get to. If you trailer your motorcycle, you have plenty of room for your truck, trailer and bike. If I could suggest anything, it would be more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom for a week. We had to hit dollar general 😂. Only real complaint was the master BR was way too soft and worn. At our age, made for some hip pain overnight. On the bright side, there was no shortage of hot water! Loved it! Living space was clean and enjoyable. We had some quiet nights on the couch. Located in the central part of p
Maggie, it made everything easy to access. Only minutes from Waynesville and Cherokee and 45 to Asheville, this is a good location.
This was a great getaway that was very clean and just as advertised. Management was quick to respond to a few needed supplies and we couldn't have been happier. Will book again!
