AVOID AVOID AVOID! I paid 3 nights to my trip to Madrid and they ruined my first 24 hrs in the city. I got the key and went to room #8. The heating system in the room was extremely high (it was difficult to breath, it must have been like 30degrees). I requested to make any change and they were not able. So, I decided to open the window with the risk of getting a cold (to get some fresh air in winter) but the room faces a main street so the noise was actually louder in our floor than in the street. It was impossible to sleep (I slept 2hrs on my first night of my 3 day trip in Madrid). Next morning, my plan was to take a shower and maybe negotiate a different room without the heating problem. The shower did not have hot water (in winter), I asked at the reception and the answer was I only worked one day per week here and I don't know how to solve the problem. Summary: When I booked this hotel I did it with the intention of having a simple hotel with good location and basic services. There are not basic services. Expedia should eliminate this hotel since they are not delivering the minimum services they promise. I had to leave at 11pm of the second night and pay an extremely expensive hotel because I trusted Expedia.

Nos tuvimos que quedar en Madrid una noche por perder el Ave. Necesitábamos quedarnos en un sitio muy cerca de Atocha. Solo podemos decir que la ubicación es perfecta y la atención de Federico fue un 10, tanto por teléfono, para arreglar un problema en la reserva, como en persona, ya que nos atendió estupendamente.

Rigtig fint sted. Der er, hvad man skal bruge, der er renligt og det ligger helt centralt. Det eneste minus var, at bruseren til dels var i stykker og et varmt brusebad var ikke en mulighed. Småting.

シンプルな駅前ステイ
アトチャ駅からは、徒歩５分程度。到着は夕方でしたが、駅周辺の治安は特に気になるほどではなく。エントランスの写真を元に辿り着きました。フロントの対応は非常によく、感じ良く迎えていただきました。但し、地図など観光に役立つものは用意していないようで、最寄りの観光案内所に行ってくださいと言われました。２人での滞在でしたが、部屋はシンプル？というより、無理やり２つのベッドを詰め込んだかのような窮屈なレイアウト。荷物は床に広げることは出来ませんでした。また、窓も外が見えないようにブラインドが閉められていました。テレビはあるものの、チャンネルを回せど映らず。シャワールームのお湯の出は良く、キレイでボディーソープなどの準備がされており、好印象。但し、タオル掛けなどがないので、そこは苦労した印象。別な部屋を覗いたところ、広かったので、もしかすると改築などでいびつにせざるを得なかったのかな？と。細かいところに気になる点はありますが、ロケーションを考えれば、単に寝るだけ、という方にはお薦めです。
