Excellent stay. Room very clean very nice staff. Location is convenient very close to train stations buses Uber rides restaurants, etc. Two things didn’t like no lights in the street at night and the cleaning staff too noisy in the mornings.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and great strategic location that is close to everything. Just needs minor fixing (caulking in bathroom, minor cracks/space gaps in laminate floor. Would definitely recommend and would use again. The cook/food attendant seemed a bit grouchy when he was asked for coffee, as he was all alone with no help on December 2, 2023 during breakfast time. Could use additional staff member and maybe self serve coffee maker.

Very poor
Very poor wi-fi, bar permanently closed, limited breakfast options, no atmosphere. Only good thing was the location for sight seeing but right next door to a night club so disturbed sleep. Very poor given the cost.

A very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Close to many metro stops, just 2 mins walk from hotel. Very spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable bed and helpful staff.

The building needs better signing. We were unable to locate easily at night. Also, the front of the building should have some lighting at night for when guests return late at night. It feels like you’re walking down a dark alley to get to it.

There is a noisy nightclub on the street so the rooms on that side can be a problem. The 5th floor has a room with a super low ceiling. Breakfast was great, staff was very friendly and the location is perfect to get around.

Not Worth It!!
This hotel for me was definitely not worth the price tag even for its location. My room at check in was so SMALL , minimal sunlight, NO view & NO AC !! I called the front desk about the air immediately and she said one moment. I assumed she would send someone. I dozed off bc I was tired from my 8hr flight & after 1hr the room was still HOT, no one ever came to service it & it made this loud banging noise. I took a video of the noise and went to the desk and played it for her & she moved me to a different room on the 5th floor with an angled ceiling that looks like a loft in the pics. DON’T accept that room unless your short (5’4 or shorter) or have small kids that like to play bc it’s like they made a room out of attic space and it is NOT a functional room. I bumped my head on the ceiling a few times so be careful. The bathroom had a tub instead of walk in shower & I hated that bc when I took a shower the floor was soaked. The fridge didn’t work at all and the AC unit blew cold air but only in the direction it was facing which was underneath the angled part of the ceiling. I was only there for 2 days so I dealt with it. I went to another hotel for remainder of my stay. Pros: Smells nice in lobby, need key card for hotel access, staff was friendly, short walk to everything. Cons: Location.. Hotel located on a side alley street, Very dark at night with minimal lighting. Can’t see the front door right away. Overpriced with no real views. AC cooling sucks.

Horrendous noise, don't stay if you want sleep
Don't bother staying here if you wish to sleep, unless you're the heaviest sleeper on the planet. There is a nightclub right next to the hotel, it opens weds-sun midnight-6am and during those hours there are constantly drunk people outside shouting and screaming. It isn't just a bit of inconvenient noise it is so loud I honestly thought I'd left my window open by mistake at first. Then at 6am everyone leaves the nightclub and there is another half hour of hell as people are dispersing. The fundamental reason people stay in a hotel is to sleep and this hotel doesnt serve that basic purpose, how they can charge money for those rooms is beyond me. Really ruined our holiday as we were just shattered the whole time and we both ended up ill from exhaustion. I've stayed in tons of hotels/hostels from as low as 2 stars and this is by far the worst I have ever stayed in.

The room has poor cleanliness, and tons of damages (Attached are the pictures). The bathroom is covered in mold, the shower is dirty, the floor vinyls tiles are not in their place. The wall wallpaper has bubbles which resemble mold in their inside. The room itself looks like it had a past flood incident. The conditions of the room are not as the ones stated in the pictures we saw when we made the reservations in Hotels.com. Very very RUDE staff,

The staff was amazing and very accommodating to our party of 9. They helped us with breakfast accommodations, oriented us on how to use the metro and always had a smile on their face. Heads up, ask for an inside room. Madrid is always partying late at night and you will not be able to sleep if your room is facing the street.

The air conditioning did not work leaving the room very hot. And, being on the first floor, it was incredibly loud due to outside crowds. Would recommend putting in sound-decreasing windows for the street side rooms. Unable to have a restful night due to heat and noise.

Noise from neighbouring nightclub
There is a nightclub located next to the hotel. The noise from the street of drunk people was unbearable, especially between 5 and 6 every morning when the clubs shuts. Hardly slept at all.

The hotel is very charming and centrally located. The staff was always very courteous and helpful. I asked for and received recommendations on where to get tested for the return trip. They also printed my results for me. The breakfast is very good and there are safety guidelines in place. The rooms are modern with great shower heads and generous pump shampoo bottles. The only thing this hotel is missing is nice city views.

Property location was superb. Clean and very friendly front desk. Not the most sound proof walls/ room. Could hear everything in the early morning including the cleaning ladies with the carts.

Bang Bang Bang!!
Nice hotel off an less than desired quiet side street. Biggest issue is there was NO PADDING under the fake hardwood floors and you can hear everything ESPECIALLY the housekeeper that mops and bangs the mop bucket all over the room. I literally jumped up out of my sleep bc the noise was so loud and extreme. The front desk was obviously aware of this so when i mentioned it they immediately offered to move me to a room with noone above me. That was a plus even though i was downgraded in room size.

Great location!very comfortable bed and water pressure in shower good!However we felt that for a four star hotel a few more small towels were needed,as well as a full shower door,not half so when taking a shower water does not spill out.One other thing,instead of paper cups for coffee,it would make sense to have ceramic mugs .overall a nice hotel with walking distance to everything!

Location is very good, quiet street almost all the time, except weekends nights when crowds of young people hang out in Night club next door till 6AM mostly on the street smoking and drinking right under our room windows. Luckily, soundproof windows blocked most of the sound so the level of noise was tolerable.

Madrid Eurostars stay.
The over all stay was pleasant but a few things put me off, the initial room I was given the AC unit started leaking onto the floor and bed so I was moved to a different room with no hassle. In the 2nd room in the bathroom the paint was peeling off in a few places on the cieling and it look as if it need a bit of paint work to touch up. The major issue I had was the smell of cigarette smoke coming through the AC unit at 11:30 at night for a while it made it very unpleasent to be in the room. ON a positive note the breakfast was very good and the bed was one of the more comfortable ones I have slept in a hotel.

Decent hotel, great location but be aware the hotel is next to a night club so rooms in the 2nd level can be noisy with people yelling (nigth clubs in Madrid close at 6 am)

Very nice hotel, very beautiful lobby and friendly staff. The only negative thing to report is that we left our room early in the morning to tour Madrid and came back at 3 pm but the cleaners hadn't went into the room to replace the towels and restock the shampoo, etc. We had to call them to come and do it. But they came in very quickly and did a very good job. Overall, the hotel is great, beautiful and clean. It is very close to all the main attractions. I would definitely go back.
