Martine is very hospitable and gave us homegrown tomatoes and homemade jam and kept the pool beautiful however the accommodation needs updating, & is not to my standard of hygiene. Something in my bed on the mezzanine made me itch. There is barely any light in the kitchen which made it difficult to cook. The only supermarket is a Super U which is about 11 miles away, nothing in the village. Positives: the pool, the hot water, the proximity to the mountains and Lourdes if you’re of a mind to visit. We left early due to the impending strike by ferry workers.

Pur stay @ Madiran

It was a nice, cute house where we had a very great time with our family. Martine is a fine hostess.. and very helpful. The swimming pool and pingpongtable were liked. We went to Lourdes, Pont d’espagne, rafting. Bart, Lieke & co.

Perfect retreat

We would not hesitate to recommend this rental. Martine’s communications were always prompt and thorough. We particularly appreciated that she left us breakfast for our first morning having arrived in the early hours. Home made plum jam was such a treat. We were blessed with wonderful weather so made full use of the fabulous pool which Martine cared for, discreetly, every morning. It was nice to have a variety of sitting out areas. The village offers a bakery and wine but for anything more it is a short drive to the supermarket. There are many places to visit but if the weather is good you may find yourself not wanting to leave such an idyllic spot. My husband would have appreciated WiFi but the lack could be seen as a positive!

Nous avons passé 8 jours splendides dans le gite de la très sympathique Mme Bailleul.L'accueil a été très agréable et tant la maison qui est de caractère que ses environs ont fait notre joie et nous ont permis de passer un excellent séjour. La piscine est dans un état et une propreté irréprochable et ajoute au plaisir de séjourner. Une expérience à renouveler sans aucun doute.Merci Mme Bailleul !

Sehr angenehm, Probleme wurden umgehend behoben. Die Lage ( Schatten / Sonne) mit dem großen Pool war ausgezeichnet. Die Matratzen leider für uns zu weich.Ausflüge in die Umgebung und die PYrenäen unbedingt machen!!!

Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable en famille . Martine est une hôtesse au top : un accueil chaleureux, de bon conseils, elle est présente si besoin. Elle est venue chaque jour pour l'entretien de la piscine. Ce gite est un petit bijou, propre, bien équipé, nous avons fait de nombreux barbecues. Il est au calme et bien situé.

Si vous voulez vous ressourcer et chercher le calme, allez chez Martine. Les extérieurs invitent à la farniente. La gentillesse de Martine est un plus.

Hotesse accueillante, disponible et discrète; la maison est a proximité du domicile de la propriétaire mais ceci est un avantage. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine ,la configuration des lieux très favorable à l'intimité. Adresse à recommander.

repos en pleine campagne

Location située en pleine campagne, en août les commerçants ouverts étaient plutôt à une distance de 10 kms environ (Maubourguet, Marsiac..). Maison entourée de champs et de bois donc très calme. Accueil exceptionnel de la propriétaire, très sympathique. Piscine entretenue chaque jour (propre et qui a du cachet) équipée d'une douche extérieure très pratique. Donc le tout était très appréciable !! Accès possible à de grandes villes, Tarbes, Lourdes, n'hésitez pas à visiter les grottes de Betharam et la commune de Marsiac à proximité était très mignonne!

Nous avons été superbement accueilli par Martine dans ce gîte qui est très bien situé au fond d'une impasse donnant sur la forêt. La région permet de chouettes balades le long de l'Adour et de faire une excursion vers les Pyrénées... Pour les fortes chaleurs, la piscine est vraiment top! Aussi, il y a une chouette oenothèque disponible dans le village de Madiran pour découvrir les vignerons du coin... Encore merci à Martine pour ses conseils, sa sympathie et les légumes du jardin!! C'est une adresse que nous recommandons vivement si vous voulez venir dans la région.

Très bon séjour occitan

Un grand merci à Martine et son époux pour leur très chaleureux accueil. Un clin d'œil à Ginkgo, leur adorable chien. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse et la piscine. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au calme et en pleine verdure. Merci pour les légumes également dont nous nous sommes régalés.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est juste parfaite que ce soit la propreté du logement ou les aménagements extérieurs (Coin barbecue, salon au bord de la piscine) piscine entretenue tous les jours par les propriétaires. Top avec des enfants ! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et très gentils. Un peu loin des intérêts touristiques de la région Haute Pyrénées(Lourdes, pic du midi...) mais au moins on est au calme

Naturaleza, paz y tranquilidad, y buena mesa.

La ubicación es fantástica para unos dias de tranquilidad. Excelente vino, parajes tranquilos y la familia Bailleul sin encantadores y atentos. Lionel es un anfitrión entrañable y hospitalario, no le olvidaremos, ni a él ni a sus tomates. Un gran descubrimiento.
