"Pros Amazing, gorgeous, breathtaking private beach with palm trees and white sand, kayaks, hamacs, private spaces for each family. Room concept is really cool, no walls, just screens, we had the forest view one and really enjoyed the plunge pool with the kids. Would recommend this one with kids, it’s close to the main area and they liked the pool. The bed was really comfortable and the room felt new and clean. Employees go above and beyond, my son got sick and they gave us electrolytes and sent a cleaning crew after dark to pick up vomit. Security took care of us at 2:00 am for our luggage to the airport. Breakfast is included and pretty good. There are hiking trails onsite where you can find monkeys. The pool comes with a spa, heating it would’ve been nice but it was still appreciated. Massage service is available but pretty expensive, like all the amenities. Cons We paid 150$ usd for a one hour tour that we could’ve done by foot. Food was crazy expensive and good but nothing spectacular, 50-70$ usd for a plate in Nicaragua is insane. We recommend the pizza for lunch which is the only more affordable option (20 USD per pizza, feeds about 1 person) Airport shuttle was 288$ usd, we took our own for 85$ usd. A fridge in the room and black our blinds would be good additions. I would still absolutely recommend this hotel but bring your own car so you can eat out and do tours. It’s only 20 minutes from the main city of San Juan Del Sur. We will return (with a rental car)"

"I recently stayed at Villa Delfin and family at Villa Mariposa again, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Having stayed here before, I can honestly say it remains one of my favorite places to visit. The villa is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a truly relaxing atmosphere.One of the highlights of this property is the incredible ocean view. Waking up each day to the stunning scenery and being able to enjoy the peaceful surroundings made the stay especially memorable. The view alone is worth the visit. Because the villa is located in a natural tropical setting by the ocean, it is also worth noting that seeing some bugs, insects or even ocean creatures in thesurrounding environment is completely normal and simply part of the experience of being so close to nature.The staff were also outstanding throughout my stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality and attentive service made me feel right at home and added so much to the overall experience.1 absolutely love this villa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with breathtaking ocean views and exceptional service. I look forward to returning again in the future."

"We were a party of nine. Two families with kids ages 22, 17, 17, 15 and 13. This house exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious and the open air main floor was fantastic. I don’t think the pictures do it justice.. Access to the beach is terrific. You do have to walk a couple flights of stairs which was fine with us. The views are spectacular. The caretakers on site, Keyling and Meynor, were very helpful and will prepare meals for you if requested which is a nice option to have while on vacation. I would recommend this property and we would definitely vacation here again. "

"Amazing is an understatement. Absolutely beautiful views and very relaxing. A little confusing to get there since we got there at night and there are ALOT of dirt roads but sooo worth it. Wilfredo the property manager was our life saver. He guided us step by step. He was very helpful. Overall 10 out of 10 experience. "

"Manuel and Maria are waiting to greet you on arrival, and the property exceeds the listing photos — especially at night when the lighting makes it truly magical. Crashing waves provide the perfect backdrop all day and night, and the beach was nearly deserted on weekdays.Maria and Manuel are attentive without ever being intrusive, and they invited us to witness the release of baby sea turtles they'd hatched on the property — an unforgettable experience. Maria also cooked our group a fresh snapper dinner on the deck that was incredible.Kids aged 8–16 loved having both beach and pool access, and you can see both from anywhere on the property which made supervising easy.A few helpful notes for future guests: We flew into Liberia, Costa Rica and crossed into Nicaragua without any issues, but the border building on the Nicaraguan side has no AC and lines can be long — we'd fly directly to Managua next time. Worth noting that we went about 80 USD over on the electricity allowance despite only using AC and lights at night, so just be mindful. Around the point just south of the villa is a great spot to rent boards and book surf lessons or other adventures. And don't sleep on Juanita's — incredible food at unbeatable prices, we ate there nearly every day.A huge thanks to Felipe for sharing this special place — ¡muchas gracias!"
