"The room was very clean and we enjoyed the pool and kayaking. However given how rainy the climate is and how often the pool is usable during the whole year, we would have preferred to have a hot tub. Otherwise the resort is one of a kind, we were amazed by the view and how incredible the staff was."

"The room is newly renovated. It is clean and big enough for three people. The hand soap and body wash smell very good. It is an expensive brand! The location is very nice. We can walk to the beach, cafe, restaurants and grocery. However, there is not enough furniture in the room. There is no wardrobe for hanging the clothes. There is also no armchair and sofa. We can only sit on the bed. Also, it will be more friendly if there is a water machine."

"The property is a beautiful home, well equipped and spotlessly maintained in a very peaceful , wooded area, with easy access to a nearby provincial park. Rob (host) is gracious and very interested in making it a memorable stay. Great local IGA store, lots to do in Pender Harbour and other Sunshine Coast beauty spots. This was our second time, not our last."

"As a person with scent allergies I was very happy to discover no strong scents at all, not even the sheets and pillowcases were strong smelling with gross fabric softeners. The lack of carpet is always helpful too. The sinks and showers were very nice with anti fog. The place was super clean and didn't need strong scents to mask anything. Very happy to tell all my scent sensitive friends!"

"We had such an amazing time at this house, fishing and crabbing for hours off the dock, sitting around the firepit, and enjoying the beautiful views - such a relaxing and memorable getaway! Thanks again for sharing your home with us and we look forward to visiting again soon!"

Picturesque and Comfy Escape with Waterfall View

"This was really a lovely stay. The host was very responsive with answering our questions, and the house and grounds were rustic and charming. The foyer is a mud room of sorts with disposable slippers provided, and the cutlery drawer also had chopsticks, which our mostly Chinese family appreciated! The beds were very comfortable, including the mattresses in the loft. The waterfall when we went in dry August was just a trickle but it must be lovely in the spring. My only caveat is that the house has quite a few steps inside, including a step up to the master bedroom and a step to the hallway, which we constantly forgot and had to be careful to avoid tripping over, but they’re just single steps, so not a problem to navigate if you remembered them! Would definitely rent here again!"
