"I stayed in this apartment with my family of 4. The apartment itself was small but ok. Note that the management keeps the remote control for AC and if you need it, they charge a daily fee of 10EUR per day. The communication with the manager has been very difficult since the beginning. I’ve sent a message a month prior to arrival to confirm there was enough room for the 4 of us. I never got any answers. The day before our arrival, I sent another message that was again unanswered. Even VRBO...

"Von den 4 Unterkünften, die wir in diesem Urlaub auf den Azoren hatten, ist dies die Einzige, die wir nicht empfehlen können. Als wir ankamen (Anfang Mai) waren die Temperaturen zwischen 11 und 17 Grad, mit wenigen sonnigen Abschnitten und dann höheren Temperaturen. Das Haus verfügt über keine Heizung, dementsprechend war die Temperatur im Inneren bei 16 Grad und über 80% Luftfeuchtigkeit. Die Wohnung war also kalt und klamm, in den Schränken und Kommoden riecht es modrig. Erst auf Nachfrage...

"An excellent new Hotel in the Island and I am sure it will become a reference. Incredible architecture which uses local materials. Fantastic views from some of the rooms towards the Mountain of Pico. Staff is so nice. A special thanks to Daniela and Bianca. They accommodated vegan options for my wife. A newly opened Hotel which I am sure will only get better with time! "
