Me and my partner stayed here for over a week we were supposed stay for 3 days but they made it Very easy to expend our stay which was lovely. Staff is very lovely I would definitely book a stay if you are on a budget as most motels can be expensive but this one is cheap and nice to stay in

It had everything you needed for an overnight stay,or even a few days... comfortable beds,air con,fan,fridge,TV , kettle,microwave, toaster,crockery and cutlery ....very clean and spacious....excellent value....plus car park space outside your room.

An overnight stop while travelling, all was good, parking outside room, spacious, good shower, enough crockery & cutlery for meals, options for eating out or getting essentials close. The only negatives- tiled floor could have had a mop. & black out curtain been heavier.

I had a last minute stay at the Tropic and found a great spot for my future stays. Across the road was the local hotel while next door also featured a restaurant. Very clean unit and quiet. Parking outside the door - great!

Very good facilities except smokers allowed to smoke right out front of my door. Being Asthmatic this is a serious concern. If no smoke would have given higher rating.

Have stayed at this property previously for long stay accomodation. Clean and comfortable accomodation. Adequate facilities and receptionist was always helpful and very pleasant to deal with. I booked again and found the same this time. I like the tiled floors as i suffer from asthma and find carpets aren't as clean, so unsuitable for asthmatics. This motel is very convenient, walking distance to excellent IGA with a range of meal options, hot and cold. Other restaurants also within walking distance. Hairdressers, service station and post office a block away.

The room was great, the beds were comfortable. Nice touch with the chocolates in the fridge on arrival. Only down side was shower had trouble draining and doing dishes in the bathroom sink. But for the price I would definitely stay there again.
