Beachfront Living

  • This property is absolute beach frontage with its own private steps for easy beach access. Perfect for a few families to enjoy with 3 trundle beds in the kids sleepout (accommodate 6 children), 2 bedrooms with bathroom and master bedroom with ensuite and bath tub. A child friendly entertainment areas. Sit and enjoy a cold drink on the top deck where the views are simply stunning or grab a chair in the BBQ and al fresco area, maybe climb into the hammock and just relax. Sit near the outdoor pool as you watch the sunset or the moon rise over the ocean. For dining options Salt Restaurant is an easy 3 minute walk, Northern Beaches Bowls Club, Magpies Sporting Club and Blacks Beach Tavern have shuttle buses available (all have excellent child playing areas), Eimeo Pub and Eimeo Surf Club are a 5 minute drive away or on low tide you can walk across the beach. For a more intimate experience a private in house dinner can be arranged for you. These must be booked in advance. Oakdale's requires 2 days notice with menu supplied on request (child friendly options available) Baby Sitting can also be arranged if required.

Lovely place in lovely location

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home looking out to the beach. The beds and facilities are all lovely and it’s a fantastic place for family to gather. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for having us.

Relaxing stay!

My stay here was amazing! The house is absolutely beautiful with all the amenities that you could possibly need. Peaceful, quiet neighbourhood and the beach just steps away. Would 100% come back to stay again in the future!!

Family Stay

Lovely location right on the water. The house was lovely and clean and not a long drive to go and get some food from the grocery store. The only we issue we had was the dishwasher was broken so we had to hand wash for two families over the 3 days before going to the activities we were there for.

Excellent location, very well appointed spacious home, outdoor BBQ area is really useful, view is outstanding. Cleaners let the owners down prior to our stay, but other than that no issues whatsoever.

Beautiful house. Few minor quibbles. I have notified the owner about these. And I’m not sure the garage is the right bedroom for 3 adults. Great for kids I guess.

Wonderful Beachfront stay

This was the perfect house with a stunning beachfront view to enjoy time with family and friends. Check in was easy even though we were late in. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, and the kitchen is good for simple preparation of meals. The house has a great entry for welcoming guests, a big comfortable couch and a choice of spaces to relax and enjoy the modern light colour décor, fitting for beachfront living. We did not have time to use the BBQ or the pool however this would be great in the warmer months. The Eimeo Hotel is close by for lunch with spectacular views and the travel into Mackay is a short drive. Thank you to the Host Lisa, she is friendly and a good communicator and available by text. I would recommend this property.

Great stay at dolphin heads

We had a great time on this stay, the house was as advertised, which was great, as not all are. The owner Lisa was a wonderful host and even gave my wife a small birthday present. I would not hesitate to recommend this house.
