"This is a very well equipped villa in a lovely location overlooking the lagoon. The village of Torreira a few minutes away is a gem. A pretty little town with old buildings lining the pedestrianised main street at one end and a harbour with brightly painted traditional fishing boats at the other end. The villa has a good heated pool and two comfortable lounges, one of which overlooks the lagoon. The garden is secluded and a nice place to relax. The nearby road is only really noisy on Sundays...

The decoration, furniture and equipment is a bit old-school and used already, but still it is a great value for the price. We loved the garden, with small pool. Car is a must there. The way to Porto is very straight forward and takes about 20 minutes, same for the nearest beach. We highly recommend this place!"

"Five American couples who hoped that this house would provide a comfortable get away were regrettably disappointed. It’s a story of miscommunication but, alas, also a misleading vrbo post.In terms of outdoor amenities, the property largely lived up to its billing. The site has an appealing view and nice poolside area. If you’re looking for a large home to enjoy outdoor dining and swimming, this might be worth a look. Though the conditions inside the house are worth noting.Some of these faults...

"When we arrived at the property, Carmen and her lovely dogs welcomed us with open arms. It's located about 30 minutes from Porto and if you seek for peace and quit it's the best place to stay. The huge garden is so adorable. We enjoyed it a lot. Carmen is a very open-minded and friendly host. We will come back for sure. :-)"
