What a lovely find. Such a well thought out and appointed property, retaining its old charm whilst having modern services. The location is remote enough to be very peaceful but close enough to towns. Such a lovely little stream running through the property. Well done.

Great stay

Welcoming hosts, comfortable room, huge breakfast - what more could you ask for? Although our room faced the road, there was little traffic noise, even with the window wide open. Kirsty and Gareth made us feel very welcome and we would be very happy to stay with them again. The location was very convenient to explore Machynlleth and the surrounding area.

New owners imminent

One of the finest private guest houses I have experienced. Hosts were very welcoming and produced some uniquely comfortable touches to enhance our stay. Sadly, we were their last guests as they have sold the business. New owners have a large task to maitain the standards set.

Idyllic stay in South Snowdonia National park

Delightful stay in stunning picturesque surroundings. Jackie and Rob were so welcoming on arrival. Delicious fresh cake as a treat in our room. Jackie even booked a restaurant that evening for us as we were unfamiliar with the area. Perfect for exploring the coast of Aberdovey and Towyn,visiting Dolgoth Falls and Talyllyn lake and a superb stay for walking Cader Idris.

Everything excellent!

Everything was perfect. Our room was lovely with a fabulous bathroom. We very much enjoyed our cooked to order breakfast. The iced water at bedtime and fresh milk delivered in the morning were nice touches. Jackie and Rob are excellent hosts and we will definitely be returning.

Great stay in a great place

We had a great stay! Rob and Jackie are lovely hosts! They are very helpful with suggestions on what to visit etc. Also, Rob loves to print maps :) Breakfast is very nice too. We would go back any time.
