  • Part of a lovely 17th-century property and set in 5 acres of beautiful gardens with walks from the doorstep, this is a fantastic place to base yourself to enjoy the stunning Welsh scenery that surrounds you. Perfect for lovers of the great outdoors, you’ll find yourself on the edge of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park where you can enjoy plenty of outdoor sports including mountain biking, hiking and mountaineering in a spectacular environment. If you’re after something a little more sedate, you are within a short stroll of the village shop, pub and café, or you can travel 8 miles to the market town of Machynlleth where you can experience the nature of the Dyfi Valley including the nature reserve or take walks along the riverside. There is also the MOMA – Museum of Modern Art which showcases contemporary Welsh art and hosts rotating exhibitions.

    Walk into the porch with plenty of space for sandals, boots and coats and start exploring this gorgeous period property. The country house has been developed into individual holiday homes with an empathy to the building and all your creature comforts. The first room you come to is the spacious kitchen/diner. If you decide to eat in, with local produce purchased on your travels, the kitchen is well-equipped with all you need to rustle up a meal whilst enjoying views over the garden. When ready gather round the dining table and plan your holiday activities over dinner. After a full day out relax in the lounge on the comfortable sofas, watch a film on the Smart TV or light the wood burner for cosy nights in. When ready for bed you have two lovely bedrooms to choose from, the double bed or the twin, both bedrooms have lovely views to wake up to. The bathroom has a WC and a shower over bath, perfect to start the day with leisurely bath or shower. Also on this floor, there is a separate WC.

    Outside, there is a lovely paved patio with furniture, the perfect spot for al fresco dining with a charcoal BBQ to hand, overlooking the garden. There are 5 acres of grounds to explore with wildlife pond, woodland and expansive lawn, with opportunities to play pickle ball, badminton and football.
