"The house was spotless and a good location to get on highway. It was near the airport and could hear planes landing and taking off but did not hear planes after 11 p m. The owner lives in lower level and was very nice but did not speak much English and I do not speak Portuguese so checking in was a little complicated. I liked the location it was not as busy as Funchal and overlooked the mountains. The island is spectacular and would definitely recommend a stay on this island. "

"The house, the space, the design, the views, the electrics blinds! It had everything you needed and felt an inviting house with household essentials to use/share. The house was a luxury to stay in. Communication with (We Host Maderia) Carlota prior to arrival was very helpful and appreciated too. Some specific info of house number/description in directions to help with expecting the steep approach and finding the accommodation for new arrivals to the island in a hire car.
