Weather beautiful, a little windy for fly fishing but our guide on the lakes made it work. Fishing right off the dock early mornings and late evenings with spectacular sunsets right in front of us. "My family and I were looking for a true down east Maine getaway without dealing with tourist traps and large crowds. This was such a wonderful way to do it. The property is as described. The views and sunsets are picturesque. Sandy and Charlie are incredible people who made our stay perfect. The town is geographically located near numerous outdoor excursions and hikes. "Maine is our favorite place to be. This property was great. Tons of shade, a beautiful lake, dock, fire pit.. we had a blast. Even swam in a rainstorm and it was beautiful!! We visited Eastport and fell in love with a small little fishing town. Jasper beach was BEAUTIFUL even in the fog, such a special place. "This location was what our family needed for a long weekend of nothing! The Rocky beach was isolated, yet a perfect place for our young grandchildren to explore and search the ‘pirate cove’. A few trips up and down those beach stairs were better than any gym workout! Amazing hikes were within short driving distances - all levels of hikes. The house is exactly as described and has everything you could possibly need or want!"

"The property at Grand Lake Stream was exactly as advertised. It was clean, plenty big enough and the setting simply could not have been better. Even during a cooler than usual late August, we were in the water every day (don’t forget your water shoes, you’ll need them). The kayaks and canoes were great, and the fire pit was the highlight at the end of virtually every day—a mere 20-feet from water’s edge. A wonderful spot, with incredibly responsive hosts"
