The Royal is a top notch hotel with all the amenities. Impeccable design of rooms and all public areas. Peaceful and very well run. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Our room was very spacious, we had 2 large bathrooms and an extra toilet! Very luxurious and comfortable. The staff at the hotel were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very reasonably priced. Walkable to the fisherman’s wharf and close to Outer harbour ferry terminal

Overall it's a lovely place, but felt the Portuguese influence (other than the architecture) has diminished somewhat. Lots to see and do - just depends on what you're interested in.
A unique and interesting blend of an old historical portuguese and chinese culture . I like to walk around the residencial area especially around rua das felicidade.
Macau is amazing! Love the laid back life there. Would love to come back and visit again in the future.
Beautiful sights and great access to shuttles from hotels that we didn’t stay at
Catching the new bus shuttle over the bridge back to Hong Kong Airport was very good and convenient
