It is located at one end of the centre of the village of Maçanet de Cabrenys in the Alt Empordà region, a few kilometers from the French border and with all the necessary services within walking distance.

The house is all on one floor and combines original furniture and details that give it a distinctive and welcoming touch. It stands on a plot of land with a 750 m2 garden with shady trees that can be accessed by car through a gate. It has 3 bedrooms and a terrace-porch with barbecue which, along with the spacious garden and outdoor furniture, is one of the best spots to enjoy memorable moments.

Maçanet de Cabrenys is surrounded by forests and mountainous countryside where you can go hiking, cycling and do excursions with mountain bikes and motorbikes. You can also enjoy the municipal padel courts or visit the original Football Golf club and play a few games with family or friends. In the summer you can cool off in the public swimming pool or in the natural river pools in the area known as “La gorga de les dones”.

Layout

You go into the property through a gate for cars or another one for people and come into the garden where there is a specific space to park 2 cars.

There are a few steps going up into the house and you come into a hallway. On the left, is the lounge-dining room with a sofa, armchair, decorative fireplace (no fires allowed), dining table and chairs for 6 people and all the necessary tableware. New TV with entertainment platforms and door leading to the terrace-porch with a barbecue and to the garden.

Going to the right from the hallway, you come to the well-equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances and utensils: fridge-freezer, oven, vitroceramic hob, microwave, conventional Italian coffee pots and a Bosch coffee capsule machine and a dishwasher. There is also a pantry and a utility room with a washing machine. Table and 4 chairs.

3 double bedrooms with single beds, all with built-in wardrobes, bedside tables and reading lamps. 1 full bathroom with shower and 1 toilet.

Reading room with books, games and armchair. 2 padel racquets.

There is wifi and heating throughout the house and magnificent views of the mountains.

Can Cardina is located in the beautiful village of Maçanet de Cabrenys, with its charming stone houses and narrow streets, perfect for wandering around and discovering its hidden corners. It is surrounded by lovely mountain scenery, authentic small shops, lots of history, rivers, rock pools and a public pool for cooling off during the warmest months. There is also a municipal padel court and the Futbol Golf Club.

Set in a stunning location, it is the perfect place for doing all sorts of mountain sports and activities such as mountain biking, hiking, excursions on foot or by bike, among others. A great house for enjoying a few days’ break all year round!
