"We had a great time staying at this lake house and really enjoyed our trip overall. The house was comfortable and the lake itself was beautiful. A couple of things to keep in mind if you're considering booking: the house could have used a bit more attention to cleaning, as we noticed some spider webs, the freezer was a bit dirty and dog hair in a few areas(which we don’t mind at all, but others might). It wasn't anything major, but a deeper cleaning before guests arrive would make are difference.Also, be prepared for lots of stairs and a fairly long walk down to the private dock. It wasn't an issue for us, but it may be challenging for anyone with small children, mobility concerns, or a lot of gear to carry.The host was very prompt at replying to our questions and concerns. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nice and cool especially with it being 100 degrees outside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the location—it just helps to know what to expect before booking."

"Jim is fantastic. Log cabin is adorable. Lake is a beautiful. Perfect fenced in yard for the dog and close to downtown. Had a minor issue with the air-conditioning but Jim sent someone out to get it fixed right away."
