"Best location on Matosinhos. 1-minute walk to Sul Matosinhos metro, 5 minutes to the beach, and plenty of restaurants and good groceries around.
Chsrming property. The walls are pretty tin and staircase is squeaking a lot. temperature control goes random at time and door locks are tiny.

"This property is a little gem.
Direct transport into Porto and very straight forward.
Absolutely nothing was too much trouble when we needed advice on how to get around.
Ivo was often present very professional & kind. Even booked our trains to Lisbon and assisted us in being able to pay in cash as they used the hotels account which was a massive help.
Throughout our stay Fatima was present cleaned our room doing breakfast providing anything we needed. Beautiful kind person.
Has a beautiful well maintained garden area with a plunge pool & jacuzzi was so peaceful and lovely to relax in have breakfast outside or a glass of wine later on.
We have no complaints or downsides whatsoever. We stayed twice hence the reviewing twice. We will be back. "
"Hotel has beautiful spiral staircase. Also has an elevator so you dont have to carry luggage up the stairs. Parking is at garage down the street at a discounted price. Also had a limited breakfast for a fee.

"The Hotel was suited very close to the airport, yet had excellent soundproofing so we didn't hear any aircraft..the staff were very friendly and helpful too..the room had a wonderful modern bathroom and an excellent shower and there were plenty of cable channels and in English too...the air conditioning was great to have as well...kindly as we vacated before breakfast time they gave us a snack to take away..... perhaps a central light in the room would be useful, but overall it was a wonderful hotel 🏨..Thanks"
"We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The bedding was the most comfortable I have ever had in hotels. We slept so well. The hotel is conveniently situated near the overground station , it takes 25 minutes to central Porto. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was excellent. My only criticism is that the hotel charged my credit card twice for the tourist tax, once upon checking in, once when checking out. I did say to the young girl who checked me out that I had paid for the tourist tax upon checking in to make sure i wouldnt be charged twice. She assured me i would not be double charged but they did!!! I did send an email to the hotel through Expedia ( as the hotel doesnt have a direct email adress) but this still remains unanswered. I did try to call by phone but again no answer. I do not know if this is a genuine mistake from the hotel, but if they do this to everyone, they must be making a fortune! So, I would advise people to watch out for this.
