Extremely accommodating

Our stay in Lyon was so pleasant and the check in and check out process made it so our journey was as simple and comfortable as possible. The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfy and the location was perfection. We were near amazing restaurants and local bars, if ever back in Lyon I would love the opportunity to stay here again!

Wonderful location, near to many attractions. However, it can be surprisingly noisy, and it is impossible to close off the flat from street noises when the weather is hot, because the place is not air-conditioned. Loud music and arguments in the street and cheering for sports events on TV happens on some nights.

Comfortable studio for an Excellent Price

A positive experience. The bed was surprisingly good and double windows ensured that it was quiet. It was really well provisioned: we appreciated the coffee and the condiments, although we didn’t cook. And the studio has a distinct and attractive character. We did feel that someone being there to check us in would have made the experience that much better.

Old is the word

The bedding was old and the pillows were nothing but crumbled foam. We requested extra pillows but were told unavailable. The bathroom has black mold on the pipes. The TV and fireplace didn't work which the manager knew about before our arrival since she told us she would try to arrange service but it didn't happen. The kitchen hadn't been properly cleaned and we were left with dirty sponges.

Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in Vieux Lyon, so dass man die Stadt weitgehend zu Fuß erkunden kann. In der Umgebung gibt es Sehenswürdigkeiten, viele Restaurants und auch kleine Läden. Bei geschlossenem Fenster ist es angenehm ruhig. Im Innenraum variiert manchmal die Empfangsqualität des Mobilnetzes. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Charming apartment in a fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay at Olivier's Old Lyon Apartment. The apartment itself was spotless and had everything we needed including a very welcome selection of teas and coffee. All communication was smooth and easy with very prompt and helpful replies to all questions. Very accommodating too in terms of check out. the apartment is situated in the heart of the old city so it is extremely close to numerous cafes, restaurants, interesting shops, etc. It is also close to the river and metro. The area is steeped in a fantastic historical atmosphere, as is the apartment. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend staying here. We would love to come back :-) Thank you Olivier and especially Dominique for making our short break a great one.
