"We spent a night here while attending a graduation at Liberty. Everything was fantastic. The rennovations are top notch, the proximity to everythhing was graet. Beds were comfy and we had a fantastic time. Definitely will stay here again when going back to Liberty events!"

The location was great to go in several directions for different activities. The D-Day Memorial is a must-see in Bedford. We would stay here again if we come back to the area."

We cooked many of our meals, so this was appreciated (there's a limited number of restaurants in the area, but we like to cook). Communication with the owner was very easy and good."

"Oh, my goodness - our bungalow in Appomattox was the most pleasing VRBO we have ever rented! Charming to the max, spotlessly clean, comfortable, inviting, well-furnished, relaxing, and restful. Every detail was tended to. It was the kind of place that makes one want to stay much longer. Particularly nice were the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch...idyllic. Perfect for our morning cups of coffee. Our host, Susan, was wonderful from the get-go, and responded very quickly to my inquiry...

"Myself, along with my son and daughter-in-law, were in VA for a family wedding. The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps...

"We were 6 adults .. wide range of ages. Each of us was most pleased with the house and gracious amenities. House was lovely, welcoming, sparklingly clean with comfortable beds, good showers, fully stocked kitchen supplies with surprising extras. (Bedrooms were one flight up and a room with a futon and full bath one flight down from main level.) Been in Vrbo, b&b and airb&b places .. Breezewood is set as my gold standard! We’d stay again in a heart beat!"

"We had a great stay. We visited Lynchburg to attend a college graduation at Randolph College which is about 3 minutes away from the home. The house was clean, welcoming, and the communication with owner was great. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. The home is on a very quiet street which was nice. We highly recommend it for your stay in Lynchburg."

"Very clean and accommodating. Inside is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed the older charm of the house. The door lock is complicated. I never did fully figure it out and had difficulty every time. Hurt my manliness, lol. The sofa bed sheet did not fit and had to make due until the next day when sheets that fit were provided. We indicated in the reservation that we had 9 guests. But there were towels for 6. We had to make due until more towels were provided the next day. None of these things...

"Nice location to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The view of Peaks of the Otter was beautiful. The owners are friendly and attentive to any needs you might have. The Sanctuary was well appointed and was a great respite."

"I booked this place for college for a weekend at LU (Liberty) I have stayed at many VRBO’s. This was by far the best I have ever experienced. The home was fantastic, clean and the hosts super responsive! When we initially arrived our door code did not work. Within less than 5 minutes they had the code fixed. I have never had that kind of response from a host. I will absolutely book with this host again!"

"Last minute stay for a family funeral. Worked for our needs. Rooms were nice & beds comfortable. Some of the furniture in living area could use an upgrade. Everything was usable. The fridge has no shelves on the door & missing some in the freezer as well. Limited on space for groceries if staying longer. Note that it is not as close to anything as the description & map implies (not an 8 minute walk to McDonalds). I liked the peacocks that wandered and the other animals. This house is a...

"We stayed here to attend a graduation for our daughter at Randolph College and it was 3 minutes away. Also, it was a nice mini vacation and a wonderful house to celebrate her achievement. The home is open and airy, with lovely decor. There is plenty of room to spread out inside and out. And it is comfortable and relaxing."

"Nice house. Long walk to front door for elderly. One bedroom upstairs very nice but warm, not enough countertop space in bathroom. Small shower hard to enter and exit. Kitchen nice and well stocked. Great wraparound porch. Bedrooms downstairs very small, no closet in one. Huge house but space not well utilized ."
