With a house of this size, that sleeps as many people as it does, we were constantly having to hand wash dishes and pans. Also, the A/C did not cool the house well. "There are not a ton of options near Capitol Reef. Casitas is conveniently located a short drive from the park. We stayed in the inn portion of the property in a "family room" that was basically one decent-sized room with a king bed, set of bunk beds, and a kitchenette. A large closet and bathroom were behind the main room. Everything was clean. The upper bunk was squeaky and my son found it uncomfortable. The main bed was fine, not the best, but fine in terms of comfort. The kitchenette had one glass (certainly, there should have been more) and four coffee mugs. There was a small coffee maker and a few plates, bowls, cutlery items. A smart tv on the wall and wifi service. There was a Mexican restaurant about one minute away that we ate dinner in during our one-night stay that was very good. A well-known smashburger foodtruck is also just down the road, so there are convenient options for grabbing a bite. Overall, it was a convenient and clean place to stay when visiting Capitol Reef."
